I wanted to buy "more over the calf" men's socks. Several Targets in my area each had a few packs, Victor, being one that said they had 5 packages. My wife who is an ardent shopper advised me not to order them at Victor because the store is and has been for some time dirty, disorganized, with sales associates that really didn't give a damn . I didn't believe it could be that bad , was I wrong. I placed my order on line just to make sure I did not make a trip because they did not have any. I have learned to NEVER depend on Targets inventory system. Shortly I got an email that my order was ready and I could come and pick it up. When I arrived I was told that the order was not out in the pickup area, that it was in the back. A sales associate went to get it, twenty minutes later she finally came back with the order and said that it had been lost. I got the last pack according to her, what happened to the 4 or 5 packs they said they had? Bad inventory sistem. I asked to see the store manager, who finally came. I want you to pay attention to this next part carefully. The store manager, if she really was, said that she had been brought in to fix the problems SEVERAL MONTHS AGO, her specialty was store turn around. She agreed.that the store had all the problems I had listed and the was why she was their. That being said, the easiest problems to fix are organization and cleanliness, but those have not been fixed at minimum.Target you better send in the big guns, this one is not...
Read moreWorst Target. Went here with my family after visiting the mall yesterday. When we went to check out we saw only one cashier on. We approached with our 3 items and asked are you open. She snidely replied "do I look open". I said well mam you are the only cashier up here. She proclaimed "well that's not my problem I am suppose to leave". So we went to self check which only had two terminals working and a line of 6 as she was talking to the customer she was finishing with about how "ridiculous" I was. To make matters worse employees walked by and did nothing one even had the gull to grab a drink and skip the line by going to customer service without finding help. It is painfully apparent management is either absent or unaware of what's going on in there own store. Associates need to be retrained on customer service and management needs to be more attentive to the front end. It is certainly not acceptable customer service to only have self check out open for any duration of time and no main line open. It is also unacceptable to make a customer feel unwelcome and like they are an inconveinence regardless of if your shift is...
Read moreNo other issues with the store, but will avoid buying any type of gift card from their racks. Just fell victim on 8/12 to an apparently common scheme of someone having already removed the scratch off to obtain the number and access code on the card, add it to their account, then replaced the scratch off sticker with a new one, which you can buy on rolls online. Then when the card gets activated they get notified in their account there is money on it and they spend it right away. Purchased the card as a grad gift for my nephew and it was already emptied 3 days after I bought it. Luckily there are lovely people you can call in the Target gift card department that let me know this is common and took all the info down to track it further. They could even see what was bought. No idea if I will get the money back yet, but I will avoid gift card racks in the future. They should only be kept at the register to avoid this. Feel like there is a special place in hell for people...
