Absolutely abominable experience with this merchant…consumers beware! My sweet husband wanted to surprise me with an eternity band, and went to Sweet Feelings Jewelers(where we had made several previous purchases). The owner, Karen, showed my husband pictures of stock rings, and she offered to bring in 1 style in 2 sizes for us to look at and for me to try on. She clearly stated that if I didn’t like the ring, she could send it back, and assured us that this was common practice for jewelers. She proceeded to run my husband’s credit card (for a ring he had never even seen, much less agreed to purchase). She then informed him that there would be no refund, even though he had never agreed to make a purchase! We called other jewelers to understand their industry practices, and were assured that they would NEVER charge a customer before the customer made a final decision to make a purchase. We called the owner of Sweet Feelings, Karen, and attempt to talk with her about this. She refused to listen, and proceeded to overtalk and scream at me during the entire call. She then proceeded to flagrantly lie, and claim that she ordered 10 rings (my husband asked to look at 1 style in 2 sizes, and never 10 rings) and she claims that my husband asked her to overnight the rings, even though my husband explained to her that I was 1000 miles away on a business trip, and the earliest we could get there to LOOK at the rings would be 6 days later. We tried to reason with her on the phone, but she was so rude, deceitful, and offensive that we had no alternative but to initiate a dispute with our credit card company to pursue the refund for a “purchase” that we never made. Please let this be a warning to all potential customers to STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS JEWELER! Addendum: After another unpleasant conversation with Karen, in which she attempted to convince us that she never said what she actually said, her husband Dillip called to try to “make things right”. In the end, (& with much pressure to delete this review) he agreed to, and completed a full refund to our credit card. We have also purchased gifts for our children and grandchildren. Sweet Feelings has now become our family jewelers in every sense of the word as our children now go there also. Every trip to the Galleria includes a stop to say hello and catch up on our families. We have never felt pressured to purchase anything and the customer service is superlative. It is a rare day that both my husband and I are not wearing jewelry from Sweet Feelings. I am complimented many times on my jewelry and asked where I have purchased it. Most other places just show what’s there on display, but these guys sat with me and discussed everything. They educate on settings, diamonds, cuts, quality and more. They will even helped to custom make your own ring if you are looking for something particular, like I was. They brought in multiple diamonds and settings to look at before buying and showed me the differences in everything so I can decide for myself.
