I don't normally write reviews, but for fellow customers - hear me out.
My wife and I bought a final sale king size restore plus mattress and ascent adjustable base. It was a pretty good deal (still paid around $3500 including ~$200 uhaul fee) but the box was pretty beat up. It was still strapped though as if it was new. The lady told us that this is new, unused and there is no problem. She added, "The reason for it being final sale and is on a hefty discount is because you have to take it yourself and it is an older model that we are trying to clear out. There is no warranty."
We didn't mind the older model and having no warranty since it's a final sale. HOWEVER, it is a different story if what we paid wasn't even included.
The screws, power adapter, cords, and the remote was missing in the box for the adjustable base.
We confirmed TWICE with two different representative if something was missing or broken out of the box, they would be able to help out. After calling for about 3+ hours between Purple corporate, the woodsbury Purple retailer, and ergomotion (third party adjustable base provider), nothing was resolved. No compensation, no refund, no replacement, no nothing.
Bryan, the store manager said "final sale products may have ISSUES and we train our employees to make sure to note that to customers." Non of them stated this, unless they say this to you AFTER you purchase it and have no other choice?
If we knew the base had no parts or may have issues, we definitely wouldn't have made a choice of purchasing it. I mean logically, why would you purchase or invest and risk on something that has issues? Especially if it is a big purchase? I don't know about some people, but $3.5k is a pretty big investment for us.
I would like to thank this retailer for wasting our time, energy, and effort to get this beautiful trash into our bedroom which now we need to figure out how to get rid of.
Long story short, never ever buy final sale products from this...
