My experience with this great and wonderful business goes back nearly 50 years. Over that time, I have done many projects both personally and professionally. I built a craftsman style passive solar home in Woodstock using much of the material sourced at Woodstock Building Supply. Andre and Cookie, and the great knowledgeable staff have always been like doing business with my family. They are a family business and sadly Andre has passed. He was considered one of the nicest, kindest people in the community. Now Chris and family carry on the tradition. This venerable lumber and hardware supply has the highest quality lumber and products. I have personally procured many difficult to find hardwoods including cypress in the past. I have purchased products from Woodstock Building Supplies for many years. It’s a bit out of our way so not the main place we purchase from but when we are looking for quality wood, it’s our goto supplier. We needed clapboard siding for a 125 year old house and other places had wood with lots of knots but Woodstock had much cleaner wood.
