I remember a child in 1975 being in awe of the huge drip candle and it still amazes me. Always a great place for unique gifts and standard household candle shopping. The customer service can be a little colder than it used to be. I have seen this with other quaint shopping villages that hit and pass their tourist peak like Niagara on the Lake where there is a bit of a standoffish attitude and I am not sure where that comes from. My sister and I made a day trip visit to Woodstock about a 15 yrs ago and I have to say that the Candle store was a highlight for me because I only burn natural beeswax candles and at the time they had boxes and boxes along the floor of all different sizes of beeswax candles. I loaded up with the large pillars! From the current photos looks like they may not have so many as they used to, so I hope they go back to that.
