I had a FANTASTIC experience working with Joanna on my custom wedding band. My fiance and I each wanted to have a piece of our ancestors love stories as part of our own so I brought his great grandmother's ring from the 1940s/50s to Joanna and she took it and made it mine. She was incredibly patient and realistic when discussing my options and together the rings fit beautifully. I wanted to use the diamonds from the original ring but change from white gold to yellow gold. I wanted a sleeker, more delicate band as I felt the first band took over my hand and outshone my engagement ring, which I love. Joanna was super communicative via email and incredibly sweet and kind in person. I trusted her with my heirloom 100%. She even made me a necklace with the diamonds that broke in the process. Joanna was so simply amazing in helping me create our one-of-a-kind commitment rings. She incorporated family diamonds, as well as some gold and silver pieces I had, into the rings. My man was concerned about comfort; the first day he wore his ring he was so happy to find the fit was absolutely natural. I was ecstatic how my rings turned out...I had a lot of symbolism in designing them with her, but to see the final product—Joanna just really “got” what I had described...she is an artist and truly loves what she does. She is also very calm and patient, she got back to me whenever I emailed her or left voicemails, and was forthcoming about status of completion. My experience with Joanna of J Bliss studio was amazing and truly touched my heart. My mother passed away last year and I took Joanna one of her rings to have reset. The original setting was typically "old school" very pretty but way too delicate to survive in my world. Joanna knew how important this ring was to me and designed a beautiful setting that matches my lifestyle yet still respects the memory of the original piece. I plan on returning to J Bliss for all my jewelry purchases.
