If I could give zero stars I would.... Literally the worst retail experience of my life.
I ordered a sweater online and selected “in store pick up” from the Dulaney valley road location.. I get to the store (after receiving an email saying my sweater is ready to pick up) and they can’t find it. The manager comes out and finally finds my sweater. I say that I’ve already paid for it online, and they say that I have to repurchase the sweater in store because their computers didn’t print out a receipt... UGH ok annoying, but fine whatever. So I insert my bank card and asked which button for credit? The sales girl says that they can’t run my card through as credit because its their “new policy”. Side note: Ive never used this particular card to withdrawal cash or as a debit before in my 5 years of having this card so I never remembered my pin... I respond with “are you kidding me? You are the only store I’ve EVER been to ( and I shop a lot !) that can’t run my visa bank card through as credit!?” They just said they were sorry and can’t do anything about it. I should have left the store then ( it’s been 45 mins at this point when it was supposed to just be a quick pick up). I called my husband and got another card over the phone, which they said they would “make an exception this one time “ and for the icing on the cake, the manager told me to “bring another card next time.” UGH WORST PLACE EVER I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN...
Read moreGood Morning! I visited Loft two Thursdays ago to find an outfit for a family member’s funeral. I only had an hour and I did not really have the energy to shop- I am a teacher and I am extremely exhausted after 3pm. I plopped my return down and asked for help. Elizabeth did not hesitate! We started in the front and even visited the sale rack and after about 7 minutes I had plenty of options. Elizabeth helped me in the dressing room with styling and within about 10 minutes I had something that I felt comfortable in and I looked classic and put together! Elizabeth and I clicked immediately and she even helped me with getting my rewards on one telephone number by calling the customer service number and not hanging up until it was adjusted. Furthermore, Elizabeth steamed my clothes and we shared such good conversation. I have to tell you…. This is where we need to be with customer service and support these days! Elizabeth is a gem. I will be visiting her once I finish losing my weight (Covid pounds and teacher stress) for a few new outfits! Elizabeth was my Angel that day and I wanted you to know because I’m 46 years old and have worked in retail and been a Loft shopper for quite sometime and this was one of the kindest and joyful experiences I have had at Loft! Thank...
Read moreYou have to mortgage your house just to buy these clothes. $70 for a skirt, $60 for a pair of shorts??? I know those items weren't on sale but come on. Clothes are cute but extremely overpriced. This place is definitely not for the millennial cohort, as they are perpetually broke and struggling to budget their money (I am describing myself). Once you factor in paying $1200 for rent, in addition to bills, car payment, car insurance, health insurance, and groceries, a blouse that's almost $100 is pretty steep. I agree with the one reviewer, Megan -- who actually shops here? I guess older folks who are retired. Lol. I will say this: if you are blessed with a full time, 40 hour a week job, and have no financial worries, then treat yourself to something out of this place. Otherwise, do not even set foot into a Loft store. I'm...
