This store has really cute stuff. In fact, I drove to Troy specifically to visit this store. But, oh my goodness, I will never go here again! For background info, I went here once this summer with a friend and when we entered, she told us directly that we "didn't have to wear our masks". We kept our masks on, as did she, and kept shopping. I was annoyed by the statement, but attributed to the general laxness of the low covid rates in the summer. But, I went there again yesterday and was on high alert because of that experience in the summer. Her walls don't go all the way to the ceiling, so as I was browsing I could hear the owner's conversation with a pair of customers in the back room (another shopping area). The owner told the customers (just as she'd said to me in the summer): "you don't have to wear a mask". The customer told her that she was just wearing her mask because she'd tested positive for covid (!!?!). They continued chatting as they discussed conspiracy theories about how covid is blown out of proportion and tests aren't accurate anyhow. At this point I'm livid, but I'd driven a ways to buy a specific gift, so I tried to go into the back room, hoping they'd kept their masks on afterall. NONE of them had their masks on. I left that room as quickly as possible. Not long after I left the room, the owner walked out into the main room which was packed with customers with no mask on and started talking to her employee. We walked out, never to return again. I know their stuff is cute, but let's give other businesses who actually care about public health our...
Read moreHad three encounters with this store. First when the owner of the store bum rushed my pregnant friend to demand she be allowed to skip the bathroom line so as not to âpee on the floor.â My friend and I later tried to go back in the store, masked, and the owner purposely got within a foot of us. She was unmasked and had a flagrant disregard for my friend and I clearly trying to physically distance ourselves from her. The owner unnecessarily spoke in extremely close proximity to my pregnant friendâs face. Based on her demeanor it was clear she was anti-mask, and seemingly found pleasure in making us uncomfortable. A few months later I tried a third time to go to the store. I entered with a mask on and was loudly told by the owner that I âdidnât need to wear a mask.â The volume and manner with which the comment was delivered clearly indicated masks were unwelcome in her store. I silently turned around and left, as the door was closing the owner got louder and yelled that I âdidnât have to be rude.â Horrible person with pretty good taste. Wouldnât shop here simply as to not...

They offered to embroider initials on items, very pretty works and just great little shop. They had lots of kid friendly items and also... Even though its not my thing, they had Adults books and funny little totes that went with the books. It was really cute and encompassed Troy's fun quirky lifestyle. I got some one of kind pillows and totes for family members. It was an amazing experience and very fun loving atmosphere. Will go back again during the...
