I know the family personally my mom used to go here my brother-in-law used to cook and prep the food at is old store over 20 years ago down on Douw Street I've been coming to mr. Lee in the family since I was little I love mr. Lee and what the family does for the community as well whether it's the warm food for the holidays are the coats and clothes they helped gather up and donate more recently going into night on news ever since they hired the new guy behind the counter it seems like a lot of their staff have an attitude and they just look really depressed and down and they look down on you and they don't really seem like they want to help you the price of food is going up with the quality of prepping the food is gone down I literally just went in there and ask for basically a turkey and salami sandwich with cheese on a hard roll warmed up they warmed in the meat but didn't know if the cheese and it felt like they were just trying to rush me out the door and I just spent over $30 here to fuel like the quality of my food was rushed to rush me I love this store and I love this family and I would always continue to shop here just I hope their workers get a burst of energy or get a little bit more happier and they can show a little bit more quality and appreciation in the food that they prep and make versus making it look sad and depressing just like they are behind the counter either way keep up the good work but try to focus on what's your customers want appreciating your customers over the years that are loyal and come back people love the store and it's the pillar of the community but step up to quality in the quantity of the products spend a little bit more into your product and show quality so people come back to your store and spend a little bit more money on a...

I've gone to this place for years. Mr.Rhee has everything but the kitchen sink, which just means that he has a very large selection of items. He himself is a very nice guy, always smiling... he loves to throw little free items in your bag.

Mr. Lee and his staff have always made me feel comfortable each and every time I come into the store. They are friendly and are courteous. As an African-American woman, I’ve never felt judged, looked down upon, or followed around in their store the way that I do in other stores.
