Everyone was friendly when my mother and I first entered the shop and was going to purchase an item listed at $8.95. They rung it up at $18.95. When my mom asked about the price they said the parts were sold separately, but no where in the store was that stated, and we picked up 3 items of the same, marked the same price, made the same. My mom simply said, I no longer want it then but thank you. As she was putting her wallet back in her purse one of the clerks behind the counter gave a very disgusted look towards my mom and rudely/sarcastically stated, thanks for coming in anyways I guess. As we were walking out, the same clerk rudely and loudly said to the other girl behind the counter, what does she expect from us?! And proceeded to laugh and comment about my mother. We took a ride up to Troy on one of the hottest days this summer! Thankfully the staff were very friendly and welcomed us into their nicely air conditioned store! Masks were necessary and everyone I noticed was wearing one. This place has a home town feel with lots of different antiques and novelty items. We enjoyed browsing through the store including the upstairs for additional items. While we didn't find anything we couldn't live without, we enjoyed our visit and would most likely visit again if we're near downtown Troy anytime soon. Support small business and stop in 3 Weird...
