I don't normally come to this store, but I was in the area and decided to stop by. Unfortunately I witnessed first hand, how their management treats their employees. I hope higher management sees this and does something with the current management there because I will never shop here after witnessing this. I visited the store on October 28th, it was later in the evening around 4-5pm. I was looking around when I heard an older women (employee), yell at another employee, "you go to the front right now, i'm talking to you". I heard the other employee say "so and so told me to work on this for an hour". The older woman continues to yell at the employee in front of everyone and says "i'm the manager today, you do what I tell you go to the front and take that trash with you". Not only was that humiliating for me as a customer to experience , I can't imagine how the employee was feeling after getting yelled at for doing her job. I'm very sorry to the employee that was yelled at. I will no longer come to this location until they have new management. Witnessing that does not make me want to spend any money...
Read moreStay away from this TJMaxx! I shop TJMaxx very often and I have never encountered such rude behavior feo a cashier. Four customers were on line and three cashiers were there: one was with a client and the other two were playing around and laughing. There was another employee with them who I found out was the manager. Cashier finally called me but continued to âplay aroundâ with his coworker. I asked him if he wa ready for me and he just rolled his eyes at his coworker. Being that he called me I asked again and he said yes. I proceeded to put my items on the counter and he bagged them. Left them on the counter and just looked at me. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, imagine my surprise when the supervisor turned out to be the third party playing around! There werenât apologies offered whatsoever. Please train employees to acknowledge, greet and thank customers. If your employees at this location feel itâs a burden to deal with the general public, then perhaps corporate needs to consider who...
Read moreA cashier didn't bag two of my items during checkout - she was too busy trying to push their credit card I guess. So I brought back the receipt along with the two items I did receive only two hours later thinking they would have the items saved on the counter but the cashiers (including the one who initially checked me out) denied putting any items back and another cashier asked me to go find the two items or I could not get a refund. So I found the items which seemed to surprise them. I guess they thought I wouldn't bother to go look. I will never shop at TJ Maxx or it's sister companies again. I don't appreciate being treated like a thief. The attitude of the cashiers was demeaning and rude. I understand theft is a problem but at least be respectful and own mistakes instead of trying to shame...
