I was just in Target and it was 13 minutes to closing. There was a gentleman in a cap with long hair approaching the entrance door from the inside as i approached the entrance from the outside. He locked the door in my face. I then walked over to the exit and entered there. I walked over to customer service and explained that I needed a dry erase board because I needed to take an online test tonight. They were very helpful. Acknowledged that I was trying to shop quickly as to not hinder their closing process. The young lady who rung me up was very friendly and helpful in addition to her counterpart adjacent to her register was pleasant and jovial. I explained that I was parked in handicap space. *Although, I am not in a wheelchair I do have a valid handicap). I asked was it possible for them to accommodate me and let me out of the doors I came in because the distance in the walk in the humidity can trigger my asthma. Gena, with a walkie talkie said "No, we have to secure the building. " I get that, but in this instance I do believe they could have been more accommodating considering my condition. Disappointed. Where is the concern...dnt want a pity party ...just want to breathe. Thanks Gena. I have been sitting here 20 minutes before catching my breath after having to take my rescue medication . NO STARS TODAY JUST DISAPPONTMENT. well it made me give 1 star...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe have always been more inclined to shop at Target more than anywhere else. I remember shopping at the Trussville Target 15 years ago and it was certainly our preferred store.
We moved away for a few years and moved back and this store has really gone down hill in the last few years.
If you didnāt know better, you would think the empty shelves of the Covid era were never restocked. The grocery section of this store has constantly empty shelves throughout the grocery and health care sections. Itās really remarkable. The meat cases and the bread shelves are regularly desolate. At any given time you can come in this store and find multiple product outages and empty shelves.most especially on a Sunday evening.
Are we not stocking and bluffing shelves? Is the store selling out and not restocking fast enough? Is it a manpower issue?
I spoke to an employee in the grocery section. I asked why it always seemed like there were empty shelves here and I donāt see that at other grocery stores in the area. She told meā¦. āwell, technically we are not a grocery storeā.
I just donāt get it because I donāt see this issue at other grocery stores...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey are have been a huge amount of renovations going on at at this Target store for many months, so one of the reasons I dropped in was to see what had been done. The store certainly has a fresher look.than before, but I canāt pinpoint many specific changes.
I still find it somewhat difficult to shop there because it is hard to locate the items you might need amidst the wide variety that they sell. Except for clothes items and groceries, there doesnāt seem to be any logical pattern where various items are shelved. store personal arenāt particularly helpful, pointing off in vague directions where you might be able to find what you are looking for.
I just wondered around the giant store and picked some Christmas candy and stocking stuffers along the way. In the grocery section I did find some frozen items that you donāt usually see at supermarkets. I also found some baked Cheetos that have recently proved hard to find in other places here lately.
One thing that has certainly changed is that they now have a large number of self-check out machines. I donāt know if thatās an...
