I have to be honest as nice as the store is, it has a very uptight feel. Like no one notices you there and if they do notice you its only to make you feel like you dont belong. Ok they will say "Hello" from somewhere when you enter, but they dont even look at you in fact wehad no idea who kept saying "Hello" to us. When we look to reply there was no one around or looking in our direction. That means they are told to great every customer but could really give a c#%p. But that I can live with- doesn't make me enjoy it there but I'm there to shop after all so I can let that go- so my real main issue is that no matter what your financial status is that place is just way too overpriced!! A simple end of the year Nike sweater $100. The prices really go up from there. I don't care if I can affor it or not, this day in age with so many options why would I chose to pay more for something I can find less expensive elsewhere. It's nice store, very clean, nice options, up to date, but I'm just always taken back by their prices. Its about to be 120° here and the winter wear is still overpriced! Too much regardless but that's just crazy. . Ill add that they are good at giving you coupons for 10% off if you sign up with your email, and it goes through the second you sign up. And if you spend more than $100 you can get $20 off (something like that, it was a while ago so I've forgotten the exact dollar amount) but I use those and there's never any issue. As a was leaving the store, I checked my receipt and saw that I was only charged sale price for one of the two items. I didn’t want to be that ONE customer but I went back in and checked the sale signs along with the total price online. Including shipping online, it was less than what I had been charged. When I went up to the counter and tried to ask for clarification from the team member (Mildred), she immediately reacted with a bad attitude. She ended up fixing it which I appreciated but she was obviously very bothered and not wanting to look or speak to me. I understand it’s an inconvenience but that’s not the way any situation should be handled by an employee. It was unprofessional and uncalled for. If an employee is going to react like that when being confronted with a possible mistake, they should not be working for a company such as Dick’s where good customer service is vital and when mistakes could be more common during the busy...
Read moreI had an incident where my credit card was stolen and the store manager wasn’t helpful at all I called and associate had told me there was no way to access the Footage of the crooks nor was there anyone that was able to. She had said the the store manager would be in tomorrow and to give a call back but when I called the store manager she had told me that the police would have to come and pick up the footage but a few days go by and the detective assigned to my case called me to tell me that the store was being uncooperative and the detective told me that maybe if I go in that they might cooperate but I decided in my own interest that I wouldn’t make a fool out of myself again. So this place isn’t going to be cooperative with any other situations nor will the staff be helpful to directing you. They will be as clueless as the management there!
