I have never had an unpleasant experience here until today! Very unprofessional & rude customer service, only from 1 employee in particular. We arrived & were greeted by a male employee who let us into the store & was happy to help. He was very accomodating & pleasant. My earrings were being inspected as we usually do with all of our diamonds every 6 months. He got started & we were almost done when this woman approached my husband & I & offered him a mask to wear, he politely said no thank you as he cannot wear one for medical reasons. She told him rudely to get out of the store. He was not allowed to stand inside the store even though he wasn't standing nearby anyone including the employee taking care of us. He also was not browsing the store, just standing still in the corner not bothering anyone just taking care of business. She could have been nicer, not everyone can wear a mask. Still shouldn't be kicking loyal paying customers out of the store & being rude & embarrassing & harrassing us this way. After he got kicked out & stood not even a foot away from where he was beforehand, like that really makes a big difference, & totally worth making a big scene out of, we were done with the inspection in 2 minutes tops. HUGE mistake. Worst customer service ever. Never will buy anything from Kay again & will never go to this location with rude employees that don't appreciate the customers that pay their bills. We own 3 pairs of diamond earrings, a diamond wedding ring & diamond engagement ring, a few necklaces & charms. No need to treat good customers this way EVER! So inconvenient & nothing else was offered other than we have to leave the store. Will go to another location where we have not been treated this way. Read moreA puppy accidentally nipped of my diamond with its teeth as it was excitedly jumping on me. Don't worry my fingers are still intact! So I went to kays and they charged me nothing to get the diamond put back on. They told me as long as I had the diamond, I'd never be charged. And I wasn't. It took them two weeks to get it fixed for me. When I got it back they had polished the band and cleaned the diamond for me as well. Sadly though I don't like the repair they did on my ring, I think it looks ugly. It looks nothing like it used to. The sides are supposed to look like hearts...mine look like wrinkly triangles.
