I think corporate (and every customer, really,) should know that at the Tucson Mall location, the following happened to me, minutes ago:
I ordered two drinks. Larges. Paid for said drinks. Waited for drinks to be made. I was the only one waiting. Only other customers around were still ordering.
Drinks came up. Right names. Wrong sizes. I took them to a table. Checked my receipt to be sure I did get charged for larges, then got back in line to have it fixed. The lady that took my order saw me and told the lady that made it that they were supposed to be larges.
The drinks were remade and I asked if they wanted the small ones back. She said no, and that I could keep them, and she was sorry for the confusion.
Go back to my table and start drinking them. A few minutes later they tell me they need me to pay for the drinks I recieved in error and was told to keep.
Obviously I'm in disbelief. I said no because they already said I could keep them. They tried to say because it was someone else's drink. Its not my fault if someone had an identical order and they handed it to the only person waiting.
They asked if the smalls were still sealed, presumably planning to give them to the right customer. (Eww. We are in a pandemic. You don't do that. Its gross.) I said no, because we opened them first and were drinking them, keeping the others sealed for easy transport to the car.
They again demanded we pay for them. Again, I said no. Took the still sealed larges back up there and they trashed them. Then I said I wanted a refund for the difference in prices. (Between the two drinks $1.30). They refused.
I asked for the number of the owner. They gave me a number I'm fairly sure is wrong, because what business owner does not have their voicemail set up??
My next stop is going to be the mall office to get more information. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service. I work IN customer service. I would never treat customers this way. I am not a Karen by any means, this is just a truly uncalled for situation.
Now on to the illegal part, even though not giving me what I paid for and trying to charge me for what I didn't is basically theft, lets talk about the REAL crime.
As I sat there trying to call the number they gave me, I watched another lady walk up with a wrong order, receive the corrected drink, and be allowed to keep the wrong one.
What is the difference between us as customers, you might ask? Just one: my transgender girlfriend was with me.
Yeah.
Not a safe place for LGBTQ+ members. Or anyone, really.
I will continue to pursue this until I receive answers. I am not above writing letters to corporate. This is not how you...
Read moreOur encounter at the establishment was starkly marred by an egregious display of discourtesy and mismanagement from the staff, notably from the blonde girl at the counter. As we approached with the intention to order, she did indeed acknowledge us, but almost immediately, our experience took a nosedive. To our bewilderment, she indifferently informed us that they were out of Boba, which was already a disappointing start given its significance in their offerings. Yet, what followed was even more astonishing and frankly, unacceptable. Just as we were about to navigate our order around the absence of Boba, she inexplicably allowed the subsequent customers to cut ahead of us, flagrantly ignoring basic principles of fair and orderly service. The overall service was not just subpar; it was flagrantly rude, disorganized, and inconsiderate. Such stark rudeness and blatant disregard for customers not only sullied our immediate experience but also decisively dissuaded us from ever considering a return visit. Consequently, the distasteful behavior from the staff has not only lost them our patronage but compels us to share our unfortunate experience widely, warning potential customers of the incredibly poor service that...
Read moreTL;DR - donât waste your money here. The tea is watered down and the boba is horribly mushy.
The first time I visited I looked at the menu for a long time trying to figure out if they just had regular milk tea boba. One menu item looked similar but it had âgolden teaâ instead of black tea. I asked the employee what golden tea was. They didnât know. I asked if they had black tea instead, and the answer was no. Unbelievable for a BOBA TEA place. Left without buying anything. The next time my 4 year old was asking for boba so I went again and asked the employee if they had black tea. The answer was yes this time. I asked if they could just make me a regular black milk tea with boba. They were confused at first but obliged. I paid over $6 for the tiniest little drink full of ice, watered down milk tea and the mushiest boba Iâve ever had from a professional establishment. Heed my warning and all the other reviews here - if you care at all about decent boba DO NOT BUY...
