Mildred & Dildred — Local services in Tucson

This has been my go to toy store since when they were housed at La Encantada. The selection is always special and unique but what really makes this store stand out is the customer service which is absolutely stellar. Every employee is present and attentive and i can’t count the number of times the team has gone above and beyond to make my experience wonderful. During my latest visit one of the employees learned my daughter was looking for panda items for her best friend’s birthday and took the time to curate a selection of all the panda products in the store for my daughter to look at which made my daughter feel so special. In this same trip my toddler son became enamored with the toy cars and began having a typical toddler tantrum as we were checking out and getting ready to leave. One of the employees came immediately to my aid helping to calm Him down and end our visit on a positive note which means everything to a parent juggling 2 kiddos. I love this store for so many reasons:

1. It's easily the most well-curated toy store in Tucson. It's not a huge space, but everything in there is high-quality, interesting, educational and often a combo of all three. Fantastic toy selection!
2. Their customer service is outstanding and they offer free gift-wrapping.
3. The prices are so reasonable, especially for such a high-caliber store. You might expect sky-high prices, given the above, but I find Mildred & Dildred quite comparable to Target, price-wise. And it offers a MUCH better selection and experience!
4. It's local. I love supporting local businesses when possible.

This place is always hopping, and I would imagine that's mainly due to word-of-mouth advertising. It's easy to sing its praises once you've visited. Best toy store, hands down. Keep up...

During this hectic holiday season, I needed to purchase an out-of-stock item for my 3 year old daughter from an order that was unexpected cancelled. Luckily, Mildred & Dildred managed to have this item on their online store! I placed in an order and to make a long story short, I accidentally placed two orders through M&D's website. I reached out to customer service and they were so accommodating with helping me with my order.
