Had dinner here this evening with my wife and kids for the first time and we did not have a good experience. We ordered 2 traditional Phos, fried egg rolls and 1 kids rice plate with grilled chicken. The server told us the grilled chicken will take time but we said it's no problem. 10 minutes later she came out with the rice place and I thought to myself "that wasn't a long wait at all", but when we checked the meat, it didn't look like chicken, so we tasted it and it tasted like pork. We asked the server and she confirmed it's pork. We were frustrated at that point because we were hungry and we knew we had to wait a long time for the chicken to cook, but after only 3 minutes she surprisingly came out with the grilled chicken plate. We were suspicious about it so we tasted it before giving to the kids and it was cold and tasted old. I bet this was a canceled order from someone else and they decided to just serve it to us so it won't be a loss for them. On top of that there was a hair in the sauce it came with which we did complain about. We ended up not giving the chicken to our kids. So they only had egg rolls to eat, which btw was served with sweet chili sauce. This is not the sauce that gets served with vietnamese egg rolls! And they charged extra for EACH side that come with it. Who does that?? We only asked for lettuce but they decided to serve us 5 different sides anyway. For the $13 pho, it was ok and the soup kind of bland. They saw that we didn't even eat the grilled chicken plate but didn't even ask us why but still charged us for it, and they charged us all of those extra sides. At that point I didn't care about complaining about it and just wanted to leave. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this place. The steeper than usual prices are not worth it and don't be fooled by the current 4.5 stars...
Read moreRead all reviews and saw this had good reviews and it is always busy during lunch so I was excited to check it out and we went on 2/7/22. My boyfriend and I sat down nobody came to check on us for about 10 min the waitress brought waters but did not offer or even ask if we wanted anything else to drink, so we just had the water. We ordered 2 medium bowls of pho and fried egg rolls, she didn't write the order but she did repeat it to us. We waited 30 minutes for our 2 bowls of pho. There was a party of 6 that came in after us and was seated at the back and the waitress went to the back right away and we heard her ask them what they wanted to drink, then a table of 4 came sat down and they were also helped right away, they even got their food before we got ours. It was uncomfortable but the pho was good and just the right amount and defiantly good for it's price but it was a unwelcoming environment. I understand the short staff issue with all restaurant establishments right now so we are always very patient and kind and tip generously when we go out to eat no matter the wait but when other tables that have more people in their party get served quicker with friendlier service it just throws the experience off. We also never got our eggrolls the service and attitude was so uncomfortable we did not even want to ask for them but still we left a good tip at the end of the meal. I know times are rough and days at work can I understand that. I just wish we did not leave feeling...

It's conveniently located in the strip mall with plenty of parking. This restaurant still has that old time mom and pop Asian family feel it's a definite classic type vibe with Auntie up front taking orders and the rest of the family in the back cooking and putting to go orders together. I always like to support a locally owned business. It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. Having said that the service was fast and efficient . It's also about being realistic about the food. This is not a mall based chain restaurant or a high end bistro somewhere. The food was well prepared hot and delicious. This is a Vietnamese restaurant. So there's lots of variety in the menu. I have the build your own Pho each time I have gone. I also have tried the pork fried egg rolls. I usually go for a late lunch. I talked to the owner and asked her how they made their soup and she said they boiled bones and added their own spices which is the traditional way to do things, I think they have a good soup base, all soup comes with sprouts and fresh Thai basil, I usually add bok choy, brisket and steak. They have plenty of other Vietnamese dishes too. I have enjoyed their pork vermicelli which is a cool salad type dish which is nice on a hot day, Pho Nagn 'is a classical mom and pop Vietnamese restaurant. If you enjoy Vietnamese food it's...
