** ADDING TO MY REVIEW AFTER OWNER RESPONSE!
It is clear from your response that you have missed the point. I do not need my experience to be validated or disregarded. I was there, and this is how I was left feeling as a customer. I hope other customers reading this review and your other poor responses to your bad reviews, will see that you, as a business, do not take any accountability.
Iâve been here about 3x. Itâs a fun antique shop. Staff usually greets you at the door.
Today, I stopped at the counter with two items to try on. I was told by the clerk the fitting rooms were not available. Her response felt like a âNOâ and not a,âthey are in use and not available at this moment, would you mind waiting?â - type response. I wasnât sure if I mistook her energy or not. Since I had kindly asked. And greeted her with a smile.
As she said this a woman with clothes in hand walked out of the fitting room area and said her room was free. But instead of placing me into the fitting room. I was entirely ignored, while the clerk addressed the woman from the fitting room. Asking her if she had any return pieces and then began to ring her up.
Honestly, this felt blatantly prejudice and gross. I was the only person of color in this situation. I no longer feel comfortable spending any money here and wonât return.
The clerk was a blonde woman with glasses. I didnât get her name. But I really hope others are met with KINDNESS AND PROFESSIONALISM IN...
Read moreI bought a ceramic cat figure and they put it in one paper bag with another glass item, they wrapped up the other item but didn't wrap up the cat. The bag ripped and the ceramic cat was the only thing that broke due to it being unwrapped, I tried to fix it but it was unsalvageable, I went in afterwords to tell them that they should probably be wrapping up anything that could break, the women who I spoke with was extremely unhelpful and rude, she was practically unresponsive only smiling and saying âyeah that happensâ. I understand that the figure breaking in the first place was a complete accident but i think for an ANTIQUE store to not wrap up something vintage that could break is silly. I really liked this place and treated the employees with nothing but respect, im very disheartened by this experience. Edit: ive gotten a reply that reads : âSorry to hear after leaving the store, the merchandise in your care got broken. Thanks for your feedback.â If anyone actually read the review i made, i was complaining about IN STORE costumer service, I even acknowledged that it was nobodies fault that the figure broke, Iâm not exactly sure why whoever replied thought i was only complaining about that fact that the figure broke. Extremely disappointing customer service. Again I really enjoyed this place and only wanted to give constructive criticism of how the products are being...
Read moreI was so in love with this antiques shop with their wide variety of objects. But, I have to say that I am not happy with my latest purchase. I spotted what I believed to be an authentic black Coach envelope wallet. It is in good shape and for it being vintage, the $80 price tag seemed like a steal. Even the price tag had it marked as "vintage". Well, it is not a vintage wallet at all. It is a knock off. There is no creed, and a tag on it clearly has that is is made in China. No vintage Coach, ever , has been made in China. I am a bit bummed by the purchase now that I know it is a fake. SAA, ya'll really should do a better job of vetting your items before marking them as vintage. There is no way this wallet should have sold for $80. Partly my fault for not doing an on the spot check, I will admit. Buyer beware, this store sells fakes, whether knowingly or not, is left for...
