Food was great! Everything can be modified to be dairy free so that’s a huge win. We went about an hour before closing and it was pretty dead! With that being said, our beverages came out with no delay and the food was quick and hot. For being a new restaurant in town the team running it spent a lot of time getting things just right. The menu had just enough options to give someone choices without it being overwhelming. The atmosphere was welcoming. Need to say the two top tables outside were STURDY— there was no annoying wobble to them like there often is with smaller tables.
Servers were great, but with only a few tables attentiveness should be a given. They were kind, knowledgeable, and I’m sure if they were busier they would have been just as great!
The far side of the restaurant is blocked off… maybe a separate space for evening events? Or a room to rent out for gatherings. With how great our lunch was, I hope they’re at least considering doing events in the evening with in house catering. I have a feeling they’d absolutely crush it. IF they go this route… big if because I’m purely speculating... it’d be incredible for a rehearsal...
Read moreTrying out new breakfast spots each weekend seems to have become a habit for my husband and I. We came to Oralia's but I can't remember how I first stumbled on it given we generally are not in this area often. At about 10AM on a Saturday, it was bustling. Patio was almost completely full, and we opted for indoors which had a couple tables being serviced.
Ordered a couple of Latte's... Lavender and Carmel. Both came out barely warm not hot, which was disappointing BUT they were tasty and I needed caffeine. I ordered the house Omelet and my husband did the Huevos Rancheros. We both enjoyed our breakfasts, and thought it was good.
Service was solid, they were busy with only 2 when we arrived taking care of tables; but they acknowledged us and did there best to take care of all customers. I liked that they brought a bottle of cold water to the table to start, big win for me. The place is really cute. I am not sure how long they have been open, but given the mixed reviews they are perhaps still working...
Read more2nd time visiting in two days. The food is really good, coffee is good too. Service can be improved. First visit they had no bread for the guacamole toast but the rest of the experience was good, but slow service. 2nd visit, coffee made incorrectly. You can’t order food at the coffee bar when you want a to-go order, you have to get your coffee at the bar (if you want to enjoy your coffee, while you wait for your food) and go into the double doors to order food. Why not steam lien this process? There is no area in the restaurant for to go patrons. What if the weather is bad outside, or we didn’t want to wait in the outdoor patio? Any way, the guacamole toast was worth coming back for, service can be better again and coffee made correctly. Improve the service experience and then you can’t miss with this restaurant.
I’ll try this place one more time, and if no improvement, I’ll go to the marcado where you have to get your food and coffee at two separate places, service is good...
