Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Tucson

We went to Dutch Bros for a post birthday coffee and frost for adults and one child. Unfortunately, this is the third time we have witnessed employees lackadaisically working the window while having private conversations that include cursing within hearing of waiting customers.

Tonight, Hubert, Aiden, and a young lady claiming to be an off duty employee of DBs in a gray SUV, demonstrated an almost total lack of professionalism when they left a patron waiting in line without taking their order and slowly made other drinks in order to converse with each other. When asked about the 15 minute wait for 3 drinks, Hubert, with curtness, disdain, and annoyance, exclaimed "alright, alright!" before grabbing his pad and taking the young lady's order and then coming to take our payment. He refused to give his name and stated he was being disrespected because he was being questioned about his actions and the wait.

All employees, both on and off duty, demonstrated a lack of knowledge of customer service, customer relations, and professional etiquette. The employees didn't even know the last name of their manager or the contact information for the manager or the store itself. It was a baffling display of bare minimum effort and no accountability.

They actually stated we should cut them some slack for being unprofessional because they are trying. And then blamed us for another car waiting when, in reality, Hubert hadn't noticed the other car until informed.

This location would benefit from additional oversight and training. As previously stated, this is not the first experience we have had like this here, however, it will be the last.

I was there tonight at walk up window was told they couldn’t help me their internet was down. I get that. They wouldn’t even let me get a drink with cash and they keep the change. I walk around the corner 2 seconds later and they handing out drinks and at drive up window and taking payments and orders. Like if the walk up window computer is down you should still let people buy drinks if y’all can do it at the drive up window. This location has gone way down hill since the other manger left over a year ago and the new manger took over all the original people are gone to. The drinks are made wrong a few times. And most of the staff is immature and acts like it’s jr high school and just gossip. I keep giving them chances not no more. I have been going there since it opened years ago. The one girl told the other girl you could have got...

I was a Starbucks girl for years. I never loved how political Starbucks was and I always wondered who selected the music at certain shops...but then Dutch Bros moved near me and I'm 100% converted. Why? They get orders out faster somehow even in a long line. Their beans make delicious coffees. They have great snacks...even car freshners! They have the most adorable drinks for children in cups that look almost like ice cream with the top on. I've tried a few drinks already but the Carmelizer is my fav so far. Have I mentioned the service? They are how Starbucks was 20 years ago - still friendly and I'm not sure why so many attractive people work there but it's certainly not...
