What an experience. This was my first time shopping at a 5.11 and was really impressed. There were so many types of clothes that I could see myself wearing. Did not expect to find much but left with plenty. This is my kind of style.
Also, I Can't express enough gratitude for Caitlin's help today. She was very knowledgeable about the different styles and how they may differ in fit. She even offered to put in an order online for me if there was something I liked but a size or color not available in store. Said it would only take a 2-3 days so that was a great option. She let me try on as many clothes as I wanted. I started to feel bad for sampling so many items but she was like oh no here try more. I could tell she really wanted me to find the perfect outfit. Two staff members were helping out one customer, and a third kept going back and forth from just "organizing" the belt rack and talking to the customer that was already being helped by two employees. It was very clear I was not being welcomed or wanted to be helped by. Even when new customers walked in, they were immediately welcomed by and helped by the employees who focused on the one customer that was in there prior to me. Again, it was not busy at all. I did not appreciate the focus of attention to everyone else but myself. Terrible customer service. I have been profiled before, and it was very clear I was not someone they wanted to help. What I really liked was how personable he was. He said āWell my name is Jake, if you need anything just let me knowā. Being a GM of a retail store I train my employees that customer service is key! This store nailed it in that aspect! One thing I did notice is that it seemed a bit chaotic with how much of an item was on the racks, it made it hard to look through without an item dropping on the floor, but thatās the only thing I could find that was a negative.
