I attempted to purchase 4 tent stakes that were in a bin marked .79 each. These were orange plastic tent stakes. At the check out they rang up 2.29 each. I told the cashier they were marked .79 each with a red tag which I assumed was a mark down. He called a store associate that was in the camping area of the store and advised me he said they were 2.29 each. I asked him to hand me the stakes and to ask the associate to meet me at the camping area. I found him near the stakes and pointed out the .79 price tag. He said they were put in that bin with some steel stakes because they had no where else to put them. He stated the steel ones were .79 cents and basically that was the end of the discussion. Walked into the store and knew exactly what I wanted, but I had to search for an associate to get the shoes for me to try on. I literally waited 25 minutes just to have her bring them to me! I saw her several times and asked twice about them and also even tried using the kiosk to request them. After finally getting the shoes, I presented a $10 off coupon when I checked out. What I didn’t realize was that the shoes were already on sale. I actually got more than $10 off the price but the associate didn’t tell me this and took my coupon (but didn’t use it!)!! I’m glad I saved more on the shoes but I could have used that coupon on another purchase! Just left this store. This was my first time ever visiting this particular site, I normally shop at the site in Hoover. However, I ran into Ms. Amina while searching for an XL crew neck and when I tell you she called EVERY STORE in Alabama and one in Columbus GA to find me that shirt. Ultimately she was unable to locate my size in which that wasn’t a problem. Meeting and learning from her about Dicks caused me to go back and shop more which led me to $400 worth of merchandise. While at the register, I was able to show Jasmine the price differences online and she was glad to override the price to get my overall total down to $304.70.
