The Vitamin Shoppe — Local services in Tuscaloosa

I arrived at The Vitamin Shoppe at 11:09 this morning. I could read a sign on the door that said "Back in 15 minutes, Thx Management Ok, they had only been open since 10:30 but I thought, well things happen. While I waited 3 other customers walked to the door, read the sign and left. I sat there until 11:21 and a car drove up and parked beside me. A girl got out with a Vitamin Shoppe Tshirt on, she had a Target bag in her hand. Now, it could have been an emergency situation , I don't know. I went in, got my item, she was in the back. I waited at the register for a minute, when she came up, I said that there were 3 other customer that left while she was gone. She said, well I had to do something. It was the tone. You leave customers waiting and you are snippy? and the expression on her face, she was po'd that I commented at all.I didn't say anything else, not a word. I have been in customer service for years! What happened to common courtesy? I would have said, I'm so sorry, I had an emergency, please forgive me for making you wait. My grandson was with me. He witnessed her attitude. They had the item that I wanted, but I didn't get the associates mentioned in other reviews. I got...

Well the staff is friendly enough, but when I went to check out the product I specifically came in for that is listed as on sale rang up full price and when I showed the young man the listing he just said "I don't know, I'll take it off". Instead of selling it to me for the price that it's listed on their website?? Really?? So I left without buying any of the items I had picked up along my 10 minutes stroll...

Great prices and friendly staff. They also had a great selection of vitamins and supplements. My only issue was them trying hard to sell me stuff.
