I went to this Whataburger on July 26th around (2:30 A.M.) with my girlfriend Amber Canturberry. As soon, as we entered this establishment. We were harassed by about 3 or 4 African American female employees "a bit on the heavy side" all sitting in the booth nearby the front register. The petty comments and insults they made about my mma/boxing/ weightlifitng shoes and appearance didnt really bother me, but hey thats pretty unprofessional. It really upset my girlfriend though, then they decided to insult my girlfriends weight. They said she was fat, ugly, and nasty numerous times. I'd try to ignore boisterous cackling and remarks made. The African American Male working the register did nothing to make them stop. So, I'd attempt to order a #1 combo. The guy would just blankly stare at me for awhile, then hed say "sorry I zoned out". I'd have to repeat myself again. (All the employees present were high. They are smoking marijuana on the job in the parking lots.) I'd ask my girlfriend if she wanted anything to eat? She was far too upset to make a order. The females would continue to try and incite us. I told my girlfriend to just ignore them. Wed instead of ordering, just leave the establishment. One of the females would say "Byeeeee" sarcastically as go try and incite us one last time. My question is where is the manager in all of this? Were the employees just irritated cause we came in and they had to work? We left to to avoid things escalating. The people that work this shift need to be addressed. If I ever return to the establishment again and any remark is made. I may have to take legal actions against the employees and Whataburger. The incompetence and ignorance of the people that work the shift needs to addressed. Maybe even let go, if they cannot handle...
Read more08/25/2025 (1am CST) I don't say this out of guilt of previous reviews. This was probably the best visit to this location in years. And I went through the drive-thru. I stopped by at the end of a very long workday and this being closest option and being open to my home. At first I wasn't sure if I was awake or slipped into the Twilight Zone. The employee was polite and repeated my order back correctly on first try. I pulled around to the pickup window and was greeted politely and courteously. I then expected my 45min wait for my order. Others that happen to read this understand this comment. I start messing with my phone because of previous experiences. It was less than a 5 min wait at the window and everything that I ordered was in the bag. I expected room temperature food in the 5 minutes to my home. And I expected special requests on burger to be ignore. Everything was correct and the cheese was still melting on my burger. I usually order an apple pie because this is one of the few places to do old school deep fried version. (McDonald's pay attention) Also, if my pie isn't in the bag the one I'll get has been refried so many times it has the feel of a charcoal briquette. It was also cooked perfectly and was flaky. There was also apple pie filling still in it. If Whataburger can maintain the staffing and quality of my visit they will definitely notice improved sales and reviews. The other option is I accidentally stopped in another version in the multiverse. To the staff I'd like to thank. Typically, late night fast food is somewhat edible and pure convenience. This is stop however exceeded my absolute best...
Read moreVisiting from Texas for a college tour and this place is not up to Texas Whataburger standards. I've been eating WB my entire life- it's basically a major food group. If you are a native Texan, you'll know exactly what I mean. The line was the slowest I've experienced in a very long time. I sat behind the car at the window for a good 10 minutes after ordering, and then had to wait at least 5 more once I got to the window. When handed my drinks, the outside of the cup was covered in soda and the lids weren't even on all the way. I had to ask for napkins before I could even put my drink in the cup holder! My daughter's honey butter chicken biscuit had ZERO honey butter sauce. I ordered a WB Jr w/ cheese and got a very cold burger with no cheese that was just thrown together sloppily. The fries were disgusting- no salt and soggy!! They did not offer ketchup and acted put out and very annoyed when I asked for some. I went back inside and asked them to please remake my burger, and overheard the employees complaining about customers and even said "We aren't handing out ketchup today." What??? The ketchup is part of what makes WB so amazing! As a Texan, it is disappointing g to see our beloved Whataburger represented this poorly. If my daughter chooses Alabama as her home for the next four years, I feel very sorry for her having to go without such a...
