Sorry, a little long but hopefully helpful for those that are seriously considering furniture purchase soon.

The saying "You get what you pay for" certainly applies when it comes to home furniture. For the past 6 months, my wife and I casually checked out all the big box advertised furniture stores looking for low price sofas and chairs. We always walked out feeling like we wasted our time-again. Yes, the prices were "good" but not the sofas. Cheap materials, poor back support from cheap cushions...you could tell it was going to get uneven, wonky, sink in and hurt your back in no time....usually too soft and unsuppportive for the back. They may feel comfortable for 10 seconds in the store but not for an hour or more at home.

We did not seriously consider shopping at Natuzzi b/c we thought is was out of the price range we were comfortable with. But after not even coming close to finding furniture we wanted and feeling like we just needed to compromise and setttle for something we weren't really satisfied with...out of desperation we stopped by our local Natuzzi store in Irvine, CA with low expectations.

We were so surprised at how beautiful their furniture design was and you can instantly feel the superior quality of Natuzzi furniture after the first sitting test!

Yes, they were more expensive than the cheaper furniture stores we are all familiar with but the high quality cushions and covers, great back/leg support, ergonomic, functional design with beautiful style made it easy to see what a great value they were compared to the inferior brands.

We actually had difficulty choosing which models we liked more! Fortunately, for us we had Sean Lee helping us. I would not classify him has a sales person but a very helpful consultant. We felt no pressure to buy or upgraded to more expensive models. Rather, he listened to our wants/concerns and helped us pick out the perfect sofa and chair for us. He made fabulous recommendations/suggestions we did not even consider to make our decision a happy one. Sean really was fantastic to work with...We were so satisfied with our purchase in every way, even though it was a bit more than we had previously intended, we are at peace and actually happy with the great value we recieved, especially after many disappointments. UPDATE We received our sofa last week and the whole delivery process was smooth. The two delivery guys were also so nice to move our old sofa to the garage and in less then 30 minutes the brought the new sofa in, assembled it and tested it. I must say that it exceeded our expectations! The color is so beautiful. We chose the fabric Sfinge that it resembles leather. It’s soft and fresh and it’s water repellent. It’s way better than we could possibly predict from the swatches! I have also bought a new cat tree to my cat just to be safe but so far she didn’t even paid attention to it and she is happy with her tree.

I can thank enough Brittany for her help in every part of the process. The sofa is extremely comfortable and our house finally looks finished and beautiful. (Old review below)

——————————- My husband and I have been looking for a power reclining sectional for weeks, and after seeing a few sofas around Irvine we decided to try Natuzzi because they had President’s Day sales and so far we were never 100% satisfied. Natuzzi’s collections are extremely beautiful, modern and high quality, most of the model we saw were customizable with also a wide selection of fabrics or leather. Brittany was our sale consultant: very knowledgeable empathic, not pressuring at all, and with a lovely personality. We fell in love with the Baltimora sofa and I was obsessed with the fabric Sfinge, but our budget was a bit tight; however, we truly wanted that sofa and Brittany did her best to help us out coming up with a prize that was affordable to us. I went today to finalize the purchase. I am so excited! Brittany also gifted us with a cleaning kit, and made the purchase smooth and fun. I highly recommend Natuzzi, and Brittany as Sale Consultant. I looked a loooong time for a sofa that looked great, was unique, comfortable, supportive, well-built, and had reclining functions. Some brands were very comfortable, but looked awful or dated. Others looked amazing, but were uncomfortable. I stumbled upon the new "Natuzzi Editions" store in Tustin, CA, and saw some sofas that intrigued me. After doing some online research, I found the Natuzzi "Portento" to be everything I wanted size-wise, and visually. I spoke to sales associate Christina, at the store, who was very knowledgable about the Natuzzi products. She told me that they were getting the Portento in a few days, when the remodeling of the store was completed. I came back on the first day they opened, saw the Portento, tried it out, and fell in love with it. Christina explained all the different leather coverings available, the operating mechanisms, the warrantees, AND gave me a great price! She was a top-notch salesperson, because she never made me feel hurried, was a good listener, and was eager to help. (By the way; the newly-remodeled store is probably the best contemporary furniture store I have ever been to; really jaw-dropping from an interior design point of view.) If you want a beautiful, modern, unique, quality sofa, love seat, corner group, or chair, I can tell you that Natuzzi Editions is the best that I have seen to date. Highly...
