I was very excited to find such a specifically regional Italian specialty here in OC but unfortunately I was disappointed with the overall experience.
The piadina flat bread is definitely the highlight of the menu. It is flaky, crispy, and light, the way it should be.
Their selection of authentic Italian ingredients is great, I just wish the sandwiches were filled a little more generously. Especially the simpler sandwiches like the Alpi definitely could’ve used more meat.
The non-Italian sandwiches should be avoided. There’s nothing special about those ingredients except the bread.

I wish i took a photo of what i got legit 3 small strands of cheese on each side looked like shredded mozzarella from ralph’s. However, tonight I went with my family and we got there about 7:40 pm, we saw it closed at 8:00 pm, but thought it would still be ok. We go in and order, start eating etc. At 8:00 pm on the dot, one of the employees comes over to us and said they close at 8:00 and basically that we needed to leave. We probably would have been finished in about 5-10 minutes. But no, we had to go outside in the cold and finish our meal.
