Let me rephrase that okay the only items you guys have in there are items that are way too much for what it is for my personal opinion and that's all I see I haven't bought nothing in there in years and I used to buy everything there so it's to the point now that I'd rather just go by whatever it is brand new if I'm paying as much as I already am it's not it's not the way it used to be and I know that and of course y'all aren't going to admit to that cuz that's just not what you do when you're trying to justify something and be professional. I know I used to buy at least four dresses a week from there and it could be anywhere up to 10 a week I haven't bought not one single item of any kind and at least 3 years because the items that you have are not worth what you're wanting to be resold and paid for because I personally wouldn't even pay for it when it if it wasn't resold and I'm paying for a brand new item I wouldn't pay what they want for it cuz it's not that great of an item these days like nowhere can I find a mid-rise pair of jeans I used to always find them in Charles place not no more just went in there the other day looking for a pair price four or five pairs of time for 50 bucks if they were Miss me for 30 bucks if they weren't I don't buy one pair now because the cheapest ones are 10 bucks and they're like really low brand I can go pay $10 for them in store or 20 bucks for my bad in...

Went in today. With amber. As she posted in her review. We were there to purchase not to sell. I did buy one pair of shorts. My issue came about with the quality of quote a few of the items for sale in the store. Specifically shoes. There were a few in really good condition. But the majority of them were in pretty bad shape. Now I understand there is a demand for Nike, adidas, pumas, dr martins. They all run a pretty high price tag new in retail stores, but when they are run down, holes, thread coming out and falling apart there is no reason for them to be here and priced at $25-$30 they should be at goodwill. When I informed the 2 young ladies behind the counter of the quality of the merchandise I was informed that "they" hadn't purchased them, it was some other staff. My response was simple. Maybe those staff members need to be trained better. To which I got eyes rolled at me and that the conversation was done on her end. I then asked if there was a manager on staff at the time to be told by the other employee that I had been speaking the manager. The one who put the blame on "other" staff and rolled her eyes WAS the manager! What kind of customer service is this? I was appalled. I will never shop here again. I may never shop at platos closet again. Anywhere in the country that's how much this has put me off. Quality and service 2 things this business is...

Customer service isn't very very friendly at all. I was looking through some clothes and one of the workers sort of pushed her way by me so she can hang up other clothing. Didn't even say excuse me or anything. I feel like she could have waited till I was done looking and then she could have hung up her items. I will not be going back to the store because of that very reason.

As far as selling your items to the store I do not recommend. They will only give you a few dollars for your name brand items that looked practically brand new. Then they mark it up to benefit them. If you're going to give it away to them for a few dollars you might as well just donate for free to Hangers of Hope and Tyler. Hangers of Hope works on donations only in a used funds to contribute to Bethesda clinic to help people in need who can't afford Medical Care. Where as Plato's is just giving you a few dollars so they can market up to benefit their store and their income.

Most of the items that this store has look very worn and use and faded. However I have found some good deals here so it's not all bad. Just wouldn't recommend going to the store for a bargain. If you're a good shopper you know you can catch things on sale for a certain percentage off or half price and get those name brand items new for the same price you would pay at this...
