Officially the coolest shop in Union City! As a local otaku, nerd, and lover of cute and unique things, I'm so glad to have a store like this in my small town.

I come in regularly with my individuals on weekdays. There’s a dude who works for five below who always tries to follow me around the store and make conversation. It makes me super uncomfortable and nervous. I probably won’t be back for a while until someone can fix this issue. Today he asked me for a high five and followed me around the store. The place is fun to shop, but the fact that there’s self checkouts and an employee has to meet me at the self checkout to check my items out for me is beyond dumb. I feel like it’s not worth shopping here if I’m not trusted to check out my own merchandise. I have been to other five below stores that did not do this. My shopping days here are soon to be over with. I’d rather spend full price on nicer quality...
