Iāve gone to Tight twice. I will start by saying itās an incredible workout with kind receptionists, and some of the instructors are great. Itās a beautiful and clean studio as well. My first class was with Paul who was super helpful, had a positive and fun energy and put us through an amazing workout. The second time I took the class Kim was my instructor. I have never left a workout class feeling so embarrassed. Kim came to me and corrected my āformā well over 10 times through out the class. Every 2-3 minutes. At first I thought she was just being helpful (I needed help grabbing one of the straps) , but after a while it was clear I was being singled out. No one else in the class was corrected this much or hardly at all. Every single time we moved to a new exercise she came to me to ācorrectā something. It was hard to even get focused because she came up to me before I could even get into the next move. At one point she started to linger near me and even held her hand up to my knees to assist me with squatting. Iāve been working out for well over 13 years. Iāve been taking Lagree and reformer Pilates classes for well over 3 years. I have never experienced something like this. Itās a shame because I love the studio, but Iām nearly too embarrassed to even return. This happened Saturday and Iāve been thinking about it ever since. Such a shame because I do enjoy the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had the pleasure of attending the Relax and Restore class with Lita, and it exceeded all my expectations. I was amazed at how much movement and flexibility I could achieveāsomething I didn't think was possible at this stage in my life. As a woman and a nurse approaching 50, I found Litaās approach incredibly refreshing and relevant. She focuses on aspects of aging that are often neglected, such as hip mobility, which is so vital for our overall health. As Lita explained, if our hips arenāt functioning well, it can impact both our physical and mental well-being. Her attention to these crucial areas made the class feel both personalized and purposeful.
What truly stood out to me was Litaās hands-on approach and her warm, welcoming demeanor. Being new to the class, I appreciated her patience and the way she guided me through each movement, ensuring I felt comfortable and confident. She made a potentially intimidating experience enjoyable and accessible. I walked away feeling rejuvenated and more in tune with my body than I have in years. Iām excited to continue this journey with Lita and look forward to many more classes. If youāre looking for a supportive environment that caters to the unique needs of aging women, Litaās class...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a physical therapist, I love lagree and how it focuses on eccentric and concentric muscle control. Eccentric muscle strengthening is just as important! Lagree is also great for overall core and pelvic floor strengthening. Majority of the movements involve contraction of the transverse abdominis muscle which is so important for pelvic floor/core strengthening. I took classes at Tight all throughout my pregnancy. The staff is so well educated on accommodating and giving modifications throughout every trimester! I took classes until the week I gave birth and it helped me through the entire birthing process with controlling and activating my core and pelvic floor (I only pushed for 25 minutes- this was my first pregnancy)! The staff is amazing and so personable and the owner is an absolute saint! Take these classes! You...
