Altar'd State King of Prussia Mall — Local services in Upper Merion Township

Altar'd state I have some good things and some bad things to say. First the bad . There totally under staffed especially on the weekends which is a mad house. I like the jewelry but it's a tad overpriced due to the fact that it's not there Signature brand it's just wholesale jewelry probably made in China with A altar'd state name on packaging. Also the jewelry is literally all over the store so it's not placed in one section they have different racks of jewelry in all corners of the store and you could miss out thinking its just in one section. They have lots of styles but it kind of seems like all the styles copy each other somehow. Now the good. The store has a very up beat vibe. It's like the free people store but more welcoming. I noticed every age range was happy and excited about purchasing items from this store. From young girls about 10 years old. Teens, young adults, college kids, moms and yes grandmoms were shopping. The entire decor is so cute and the items are placed neatly. The store can really get unorganized but you never notice because it's well put together. There wasn't to many things I didn't like ,but if it wasn't for me I knew someone else who it would probably like it. I purchased a pair of earrings in clearance for $5 the cashier with her floral headband wrapped it so nice and neatly you would of thought I spent a $100 on them. I may pop in the store every...

I have never shopped here before, and went for my first time this weekend, so excited to shop at Altard State for the first time. The customer service needs some work. While checking out with my friend, there were 2 people working the registers. I went to the next register to order a dress and the woman, i believe her name was Nadi, gave us a hard time. We asked to order a dress in a different size online and have it shipped since there was no size in stock at the location. She rolled her eyes and obnoxiously sighed leaving me and my friend uncomfortable. she didn't say a word to us until she asked for an address for it to be delivered to and the whole time she was sighing and clearly annoyed, even other employees were looking over concerned. As a worker in customer service I understand everyone has bad days, but to choose to not show kindness and make customers feel bad about shopping...

Assistant manager is rude and condescending. Accused me of fraud while I was trying to return items that I had a receipt for.

The associate who rung the purchase (who no longer works there, according to the assistant manager) used another person’s account on my purchase, without telling me, because I did not want to create one for myself. The assistant manager then said I had to create my own account in order to return my items, which she then proceeded to process my return without entering my information because I work in retail as well, and I called her out for lying and wrongly accusing me.
