My 17 month old had a wonderful time running around looking for bluey and bingo, playing with their toys and exploring their space.
I (Mom) had a couple gripes with the experience ...
no professional photo opportunity which was a huge shame for the cost of what was paid for the tickets, especially when photo frames are sold in store (which I prebought assuming we would have that photo opportunity - would not have bought the frame if I knew).
the business model lacks efficiency and personalization for each experience - meaning, kids are let in every 15 minutes which gives the counselors very little time to reset the space for other children to enjoy fresh and untouched.
multiple toys were missing or misplaced, including our family's favorite, unicorse, which was advertised in promo images to be available for use.
areas of the experience were dirty or stained and beautifully placed magnets on the fridge with each characters name we're damaged, "mum" was clearly damaged and unfixed.
the bluey meet and greet section was unorganized and chaotic, it was difficult for our family to have a personal photo (especially since a professional photo was not available) because of the lack of organization, especially leaving 1 staff member to manage a large group of families and excited children to meet their favorite characters.
For a child less than 4 years old who maybe would not pay attention to those details I mentioned, it's a great experience with lots of opportunity to just let them roam when you're normally constantly removing them from hazards in the outside world. This is certainly not a magical "Disney" experience (even if marketing attempts to sell it as such) so, as a parent, manage your expectations.
The counselors should be given time to breathe, reset the play areas, clean some items in between groups. I felt bad for them and they must be exhausted at the end of each day. I commend them for their enthusiasm and trying to make the experience special. It was sold as magical and personal, stepping into an episode of Bluey but instead it read as chaotic, unkempt, rushed and cheap.
At the end of the day, my son got to meet Bluey and Bingo, blow them kisses and say Hello, so he had a great time and that's what mattered. As a consumer and parent though, I was disappointed and...
Read moreTruly wish I could rate this less. Despite getting to the mall at 10:50am for our 11:15am experience, we donât find the store until ten minutes late. There is no signage and I live nearly two hours away and am unfamiliar with the mall so when I saw that it was across from Macys I looked over there and couldnât find it. Thereâs a third story that says Neiman Marcus and thereâs when you take those escalators you will find the store. We were told we only missed the theme song and that we could go join our group right away. When we got in they were beginning to play a game but all the rules were already explained so we felt like we had missed out on the explanation of trying to find Bluey and Bingo. We asked if we could join the group coming after us and were told no. My daughter went and stood with a group of kids and the leader of it went âoh pink bracelets only right nowâ and put her arm in front of. My daughter to block her from seein in the group. At this point my mom went to complain and see if there was any way we could come back later to get the full experience. A manager came over and I tried to explain that my daughter has adhd and struggles its transitions so being thrown in and missing the beginning was making this difficult for her. I only got out âmy daughter has adhdâ before I was cut off and told âoh so do I.â And I said âwell then you understand that things like this are hard and youâve had time to figure out how to navigate itâ to which she said she was diagnosed last year so she hasnât really and I told her that this was a waste of time because I wasnât there to talk to her about her adhd. I was trying to come to a solution on how to make this enjoyable for my daughter. About 25 minutes later, our bracelet color was called and we were brought to a room to take photos with bingo and bluey. Our ticket said it was for 11:15-12:15 but truly you only get 40 minutes in the actual play area and then they allow 20 minutes for photos. This experience cost me $216 and that is truly laughable. We have done plenty of kids experiences, including the Camden aquarium, sesame place, disney world, and indoor playgrounds just to list a few, and this was by far the worst experience...
Read moreWaste of money, crowded and rude staff. I took my children here today (6/7) for the bluey exhibit and what a absolute DISASTER. Staff members were not very helpful and didn't explain things throughly (we came from Buffalo so we're not familiar) when we finally got to the slime bar the lady working was pretty attentive with my kids. We were then told we had to wait for the bluey thing because our time was scheduled for 330 (no big deal but why does it say online to arrive 30 minutes PRIOR on weekends?!) My kids wanted everything in the store due to the boredom and the "waiting". I finally settled to allow my kids each 3 items for $7 wall and while my kids were picking their items a worker was beyond rude and said we had to move. I told her we were shopping while waiting and she said "well you're group isn't up now so yous have to leave and go somewhere else" i told her again that we were shopping and that my kids would be done momentarily. She literally stared me down until my youngest was done picking his 3rd item. Well come to my surprise these cheap items on this "wall" was the "secret door"... I'm sorry for holding up the line however the girl was so rude about it. I probably would have left right then and there but unfortunately I already had way too much money invested in this. So we waited some more. Once we were "inside" blueys house it got a little better but not much. I was pretty disappointed with what I spent on tickets compared to what we experienced. I also think its complete BS that adults NEED tickets when in reality were supervising our kids. Pure chaos and EXPENSIVE. NOT WORTH IT! The only reason I gave 2 stars is because of the lady at...
