BOTLD - King of Prussia — Local services in Upper Merion Township

A very rare thing: a privately owned and operated liquor store in Pennsylvania. BOTLD buys liquor in bulk, then does final proofing, filtering, and/or additional aging before bottling it, which makes it a Pennsylvania product (by our state laws), and able to be sold outside the state liquor store monopoly. The great thing about this is that they sell spirits the state stores don't, wonderful stuff like rye whiskey from Finland, a variety of delicious Apologue aperitifs and cordials (Chicago), gins, amari, lots of whiskeys. And they have a very progressive tasting policy: if you can see it (on the shelves), you can taste it. Purchased different products on 2 separate visits. Staff that assisted me was knowledgeable, very customr- focused and great to interact with. Location can be challenge to find. Directions took me to Target location on Town Center Road. Parking can be a challenge but Botld is worth a visit to purchase...
