About a Year ago I visited Norstrom Rack... Ive been going to Norstroms Rack for many many years and my routine has always been going straight to the Free People racks, then going to the Sales rack to search for more Free People iteams on Sale... To make it short: I went to the dressing room, tried over 10 iteams, bought some and some I left...
Next day A Youngman I know in my neighborhood asked me how was my shopping at Norstroms Rack, I said Ok.... He asked me did I get many Free People iteams, and I replied Yes... I didnt think anything wrong about it because I know he knows thats what I mainly wears...
Heres the Kicker: He was told obviously by a staff member he knows and knows of Him and I that I took long in the dressing room and that I mustve been changing Prices on my iteams tags.... That I switched regular tags to Non on Sale iteams... Unless the Younglady on the register knows him ..
Well guess what I did the following Monday when I was available? Mind You I called Management, Supervisors, Even Headquarters same day I was told such accusation... That following Monday I went straight to the register with All my iteams and same Cashier was at the register... I Quickly asked her do She knows me and I told her Why? Then I called for Manager.. I SHOWED THE BOTH ALL MY ITEAMS WITH TAGS STILL ON THEM.. I ASKED THEM TO GO SEARCH FOR ALL THE SAME ITEAMS AND TO COMPARE TAGS... They refused to by choice to believing me... They gave me the run around and A number to call Management located at Willowgrove Mall... I did... Then they gave me another number, I guess higher Authority...The Higher Authority took a report and was very apologetic, also letting me know that the next day she was going on her vacation and would get back to me... She never did... Finally when I called her again she granted e a 20% off my next visit... Needless to say I didnt take it, The humiliation of being accuse of Stealing was Great too much higher...
I recently visited Norstrom days ago, and I still dont feel comfortable shopping there...
Im thinking about seeking a...
Read moreThis visit was my first time visiting a Nordstrom Rack. My expectations were high because it's Nordstrom...Rack. I was looking for something to wear to a wedding. I found something that I liked, tried it on and found out it was severely damaged. I went to the front to see if another store had it or if it could be ordered. None of the stores in the area had it. BUT it showed 6 online. During that same time I found out that Nordstrom Rack can not place online orders for customers! That's bad service for customers! I was given a slip and and told that Nordstrom could order it for me. So I took the slip and went to Nordstrom to find out that the item was completely sold out. I called Nordstrom Rack's customer service and the representative was a bit rude and said "well all I'm going to do is look online, did you try that?" I gave her the item number and she said they don't have it. I told her that I just left a store and was told (I saw the compute) that there were six in stock. She told me that she had been getting calls like this all week! (That's a problem) I've worked in retail and I know the general rules. Inventory numbers are important. Numbered of 1 and 2 mean that stores don't have the item because it could have been sold within 24hrs. However, a number of 6 is a Inventory issue and...

This location is in the Town Square portion of the KoP Mall District. Lots of surface lot parking, but given all the other area shops, during busy weekends - the space is full!
Given it's not too far from the city and since there's a bunch of area places, it's not inconvenient to stop in, just don't hold breath - it's a mixed bag of inventory.
The store is fairly standard and I like that all the inventory is on one floor. It's essentially sectioned off into Men/Women departments when walking in, and then other accessories and housewares scattered throughout. The back of the store is dedicated to shoes, and where I spend most of my time if I stop in. There's a large selection for men and women, and there's decent discounts in this area.
They have a fast checkout area where the attendant uses a smartphone and a CC to ring you out which is convenient - but this line tends to be long and moves at a glacial pace, so overall not accomplishing what it's meant to do.
I would recommend this location if you have other business in the area, but doesn't warrant a special trip to check out...
