I was referred to Reference AVS by a doctor in Iowa City who just recently had them do extensive work at his home. He raved about the quality of the work they performed. Since I was remodeling my living room and dining room at my home in Des Moines, IA, I contacted Cody Schwaller with Refence RVS in Urbandale.

Cody was excellent at being able to look through the mess of the remodeling and envision what the new TV and sound system would look like and its placement. He referred me to Kurrent Electric in Ames, IA for relocating electrical and cable outlets as well as openings for running connections through the wall.

When I was ready for the installation Cody sent a technician by the name of Chad to do the work. Chad was a perfectionist! Using levels, tape measures, pieces of tape instead of a pencil he was able to position the TV perfectly. His knowledge of the TV's systems and connections and functions were flawless. Further, he was very patient in teaching me how to operate the TV and surround sound system. I have an extensive art collection so I had selected the Samsung Frame TV as it becomes a piece of art when not being used for TV viewing. This took Chad a little more time to teach me how to operate that part of the TV. He makes a great teacher with a lot of patience in order to teach someone like me who is very technology challenged.

Had them come out to give me a quote to add cameras to our new addition at the shop. Right off the back i got a high quote. Money wasnt the thing but time was. They wanted to wait 2-3 weeks before they coule help us. We unfortunately couldnt have the camera system down that long for safety of our vehicles in our lot. So then we asked him if they could just do some technical adjustments to our system and then agree they said it wont be an issue. Mind you i waited two weeks just to set an appointment because according to "heath" it was outta his hands! Once appointment was set i had to wait another two weeks for them to be available, which was fine, a few days before my appointment they cancel on us due to them not feeling comfortable will our system mind you they said it wasnt a problem they had already talked with there engineers, they also looked at my system, also because we wired our system which we didnt A-techs did. Regardless they were coming for adjustment on the technical side of things not wiring. Since then ive called a few times and left a couple messages never got a call back. Smh with heath and all of this team! Just wasted a month...
