The selection of chef knives is vast, I finally got to handle some of the much higher end knives I've had my eye on. I purchased a honing rod and 6 inch Miyabi pairing knife. The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful when asked and left me alone to peruse the store on my own which is a great quality in a business. This store is a sleeper spot, I had no clue there was a quality knife dealer in Vacaville with great prices. I have a great appreciation for Staub; however, the experience I encountered on September 19th was disappointing due to the actions of the staff member. I was prompted to purchase additional items in order to qualify for a complimentary cookbook, which was even processed as a cookbook. Given that I was in a hurry that day, I did not have an opportunity to review the book, only to later discover that it is a history book about the company. This is not what I required. This one is certainly the best among all the Zwilling outlet stores we have been to throughout northern Cal and southern Cal. It is my go to store for Demeyere and Zwilling products. Their prices and inventories are better and the sales lady Laura and store manager Khalid both are super helpful. We are 2 hours away from the store but they alway helped us to locate the pans we wanted and held for us. We wanted to buy 11 inch fry pan, but ended up buying totally 4 pans from them.
