I had the WORST experience in Best Buy Vallejo today January 16, 2023 at 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM. I don't usually write reviews but this deff deserved a review. They had the absolute worst Customer Service. They have ZERO Customer Service skills and I will not be going back.
I came in today asking where a product was located. I showed them the product on my phone from the Best Buy website. I walked around the store a good 5 times or so and couldn't find the product on my own. So I asked a store associate, who told me that it was somewhere at the front of the store. I asked if he could take me to the item and he refused to do so. I'm not sure why as it didn't look like he was doing anything at all. He was just standing around and had no customers. I eventually found what I was looking for and I checked out. Or so I thought. I got home and realized I bought the wrong thing. It was just the case and not the actual item . so I drove back to Best Buy and tried finding the correct item and I couldn't find it. I decided I would ask a different store associate since I felt like the first person I originally asked was uninterested in helping me. So I seen a store associate walking and I went up to him and said excuse me? Before I could even finish what I was saying he was rolling his eyes at me. I asked him where this product was at and he said " It's over on that wall over there " and he very quickly walked away! And I asked what wall ? And he continued walking without answering me. He didn't point to any wall so I was clueless as to what wall he was referring to. So I checked all the walls near where I was. I finally found where I think the product was supposed to be but they were all out of stock.
I will never shop here again. I felt like I was not wanted in the store. I felt uncomfortable. I felt like no one was interested in not only helping me but their job as well. Nobody had a smile on their face. When I returned what I had originally bought the employee didn't ask how I was or if I had found everything okay and it was the very same employee that told me the product was on the wall. I don't know about everyone else but I like going to stores where employees are friendly and helpful when I need to be helped. I'm a really easy going customer and don't usually ask for help unless I really need it and I really needed the help today and I couldn't get it. From here on out , I will be giving my business to other stores even if I have to drive...
Read more6-18-2024 As usual they just don't have in stock to go and purchase something needed. I'm beginning to wonder if the stock in this location is nothing but left over stock from other stores and used as a warehouse. Going there today was a total waste of our time and we went to buy a Cannon printer and a cellphone cable... They had neither... I bet this store is going to close at this location. And no wonder why...
2024 only one complaint, no one to help you as they see us looking for help standing there. Customer service just isn't the same anymore and especially in Vallejo. Now hopefully what I bought is what I needed and works.
2023 getting better, but you still have to go looking for someone to help you. The Vallejo store still needs improvements, I believe at some point it'll get closed down from lack of customers or it'll become just a pick up orders station. 2022 Not much has changed on customer service and still low stock. But at least I was able to get what I was looking for. But there's a membership required now to get members prices and the membership isn't free it's $199.00 What CEO thought that was a good idea? I can shop somewhere else.
2021 I was there to buy a new printer and almost every printer I was interested in was not only broken to view what they had, but also nothing in stock to buy. The worst thing was spending 30 minutes standing around and no one asked if we needed help and then a new approaching customer came and not there but for 10 minutes or less and they got helped. Totally not right! Poor service! No wonder the store was just about empty of customers... The district manager should know about this. I wouldn't be surprised if this store fails and closes very soon! Out of stock on almost every printer! Something isn't right!...
Read moreI purchased the adobe creative cloud student and teacher edition on 12/28/2023. I spoke to the sales person asking questions not sure if I qualify, is this a good software purchase, asked if I could return the software. the sales person said yes. So I found out I do not qualify for this education edition and went to Best Buy today to return it before the Jan 13 2024 deadline printed on the receipt. A person named Chris at the customer service center said that I need to go to a website to see return details that best buy does not return software. I explained it’s not on the receipt and I asked the sales person that was helping me when I purchased the software. He continued to tell me they can’t print it all on the receipt and it’s on the website. I explained it is unopened and there should be no issues with returning it. He said the system will not let him. I asked to speak to a manager chris then informed me he is the store manager. He again said he cannot return the software and I can see the details on the website. I asked him why I would look on bestbuys website if I asked his sales person about returning the software and it’s not printed on the receipt you can not return software. I asked if I could get the name of his direct supervisor or a district manager. He said he doesn’t have one. That I can call a 1-800 bestbuy number. So don’t spend your money at a local store just shop online where it will be clear what their return policy is and get it from the source. Don’t support bestbuy in Vallejo. The store looks abandoned with empty shelves and a lot of missing products, and no customers. There were 9 cars out front and those probably belong to the other employees. Don’t waste your time or money helping a local business with arrogant manager...
