I came back and you can see the difference one year makes. I wanted to buy an Allen wrench set. They were locked up in a cabinet. Therefore, you need to get an employee to open it up. When I was wanting to pay for it, you need to get in a long line for the cashiers to get to you next. Things are changing to control theft and all! The Home Depot is a great place to buy home improvement items. We found screw tops for our stained glass lamps. Shock treatment for the pool. It's so green. They have good quality items, such as, tools, electrical and pumping home construction, and so much more. A great garden department, too! Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Well worth going to!

What a bad home depot. I have never been so disoriented and ignored... I had to wait for help in many departments for a long time and electronics guy never showed up even though I had someone call him on the loud speaker! OMG. Never again I will show up in this location... Also the lady over the carpets were not helpful at all, she just asked if I needed any help but she actually ran away when she realized she cant get what I need and it was too much for her. I attached the picture of her below. My advise, just go to another location if you have any other options. This location is just horrible! You would spend half a fay trying to get what you need!

I think it’s telling that I am actually writing a review for a Home Depot. I usually avoid going into home improvement stores, but alas, I waltzed into this HD after accidentally going to the Vallejo one instead of Fairfield. And while I’m certain Fairfield has a fine HD, OH MY GOSH — Home Depot, Vallejo has changed my mind about this establishment. Everyone was so nice. We were purchasing trees, flowers, and other garden-y things and spent like 2 hours in there. The cashier (Tonya) was awesome, the multiple workers (especially Alex) that helped me were phenomenal, and we were very happy. Anyway, 10/10. TLDR - Home Depot Vallejo is great.

My boyfriend and I went here to get paint for our room. We got a pink paint called Taffy Twist. We used it and thought it was amazing! Till the next day it had seperated so bad that it was orange and yellow. When we opened the can to redo it. It was like staring in orange juice. We call and the Manager told us to come and ask for him. That is all we were told, so we did. Once got there and find this Manager he took us over to the Paint and told the person working there that we had an issue and need a mark down. As we waited for about 10 minutes, the woman working the paint began fighting with a customer across the way in check out. She was yelling "Come at me then" to the customer. It made us super uncomrtable. Then while she was "helping us" she kept gossiping about what had happen with that customer and about our paint. She was so unfocused that we saw our paint done being mixed, and stood there for another 10ish minutes to get our paint because she wouldn't stop gossiping to any co-worker who walked past or near her. Once she took our paint out of the machine, she just walked away with it. Didn't say anything to us, so we followed because we just want our paint at this point and go home. We followed her go customer service where she began to gossip more about this argument she had. Then it took four people total fo tell us how to do the refund and get our paint because she wouldn't explain to them why we were there. Once the refund/purchased happened, they hand us the receipt and paint and just waved us away. As were walkinv away to the exit, we have no clue if we just bought thid paint or not. No one said anything to us at all. This point we were getting beyond fusterated and annoyed. We go up to self check out and ask for this young girl to help us. We showed her the receipts we were given and she we were good to go, and can walk out that exit door without a worry!

Only reason I am giving two-stars is because the Manager over the phone was very concerned about how our paint decided to evolve and the girl at self check out was so kind and told us that we didn't have to worry about paying. Other then that, that Home Depot trip was frustrating, confusing,...

I had the worst experience I have ever had any we're as customers service very poor on giving information or attending their customers I had to be walking around asking other employees from other departments to attend me and they would tell me they didn't work in that area not only that when one of the associates shows up they attend me very rudely becouse I grabbed a paint gallon from the counter nobody was ever there when I had a question about the paint and when he shows up out of no were he aproches us in a unfriendly manner and tells us the paint wasn't for sale we had to pay full price I understand that the paint couldn't be sold becouse the price tag wasn't on it yet for the sales price but the way and overall experience on how me and my family were treated was not so inviting and very poor costermer service I felt a slight discrimination because it took so long for us to get aproched by anyone seems like nobody wanted to untend us and when I spoke to the manager about my experience I didn't feel understood I felt more like he didn't really care what I had to say and didn't believe me in my overall experience He """"""quoted"""""" this is Vallejo we don't discriminate here with a smerf on his face """""""" as a manager he is supposed to listen and make his customers feel welcomed back and concerned about their needs and making them feel understood also not go against or question his customers when they have a concern and I did not feel any type of consideration for what I had to say even though I keeped my self together after all the frustration I had from my experience here I will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS STORE AND ALSO TELL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE AND THE WAY I FELT FROM THIS SITUATION not only because of the lack of customer service but also the management and the way I was approached I will stick with LOWE'S FROM NOW ON I NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES THERE SAD THAT I DECIDED TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND...

The store is full of underpaid employees that give you a thumbs up for buying lots of the store products. It gives off a very "I had to fight tooth and nail to get this minimum wage job and I'd better smile to make it look like I appreciate it." feel from the employees alone and it looks like the store culture is suffering. Either that or their high turnover rate, which suggests poor business/corporate practices.

Aside from the general unhelpfulness of the employees, they no longer give veteran's discounts at the store. You must now have been discharged as a disabled veteran in order to get the discount that they've been offering for so many years before. I had a fellow veteran who had been discharged with an injury offer to use his discount for me and I'd pay him cash for the transaction; they didn't even let us split the order up. Finally, after going through about 5 minutes of hassle with the cashier over getting my first order cancelled so that my fellow veteran could use his VA card to get the discount, the cashier tells me that nothing that I bought, including an consumer product, not commercial, would be offered at a discount because it is "no longer on the list of approved discount products".

The good news? Lowes still offers the veteran's discount. I advise all people to head to the Lowe's up the road instead of this place. Their store is much cleaner, more organized, and they stay more stocked on the products that people need. I've had several issues with this Home Depot not having items stocked as well. The employees are not given good incentives to make the store successful. Several times I have tried to return unused items only to be given a hassle and an attitude; "I have to put this stuff back on the...
