Dear Owner/Branch Manager,
I’m reaching out to provide some feedback regarding a recent experience at your Chipotle location in Vallejo. As a regular customer, I appreciate the food and atmosphere Chipotle aims to provide, but unfortunately, my family’s experience during our last visit was less than satisfactory.
When we arrived, my family and I couldn’t find a clean table to sit at. Nearly every table was either covered with food remnants or other messes, and we had to request staff to clean a table for us. After a noticeable delay, my wife ended up cleaning the table herself so that we could sit down.
Additionally, when we walked in, there was no greeting, and we were left standing unacknowledged for almost a minute. A simple greeting or acknowledgment goes a long way in making customers feel welcome, but unfortunately, this aspect of customer service was missing. We also noticed there were at least 10 employees working at the time, yet no one seemed attentive to the cleanliness of the dining area or to welcoming guests as they entered.
Moreover, we noticed a significant number of flies in the dining area. They were flying around, frequently landing on our food and even on us, which was quite uncomfortable and concerning from a hygiene perspective.
It’s understandable that busy times can lead to temporary lapses in cleanliness and attentiveness, but this experience suggested a need for improvement in the regular upkeep of the dining area, pest control, and customer engagement. Perhaps assigning a dedicated staff member to monitor and clean tables throughout peak hours could ensure a more welcoming and hygienic environment for all customers. Additionally, reinforcing the importance of greeting each guest promptly might improve the overall customer experience.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback. I hope that our experience can help in enhancing the service and cleanliness at your location. We look forward to visiting again under better circumstances.

Read moreI visited this Chipotle last night while I was in Vallejo (I live in San Jose) and I cannot express my experience more positively. When I showed up I was surprised to find that you could not order inside due to to Covid (the restrictions apparently haven’t been lifted in Solano County like they have been in Santa Clara County) but that isn’t Chipotle’s fault of course.
I downloaded the app on the spot and ordered two burritos and a large chips and guac. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes despite there being a lot of mobile orders sitting on the table inside the restaurant.
When I actually went to eat the burrito I was extremely impressed with the presentation of the food. My burrito was quite large (I ordered chicken and carnitas, with everything else on it besides guac and queso) and the burrito was tightly and expertly wrapped. I worked at Chipotle back in 2018-2019 and I know firsthand how much skill it takes to wrap a burrito with that much stuff on it, especially when it gets watered down with all the salsa and sour cream. I ate the burrito in my car and it didn’t drip or fall apart at all.
That’s not to mention the taste of the burrito, either; this was quite possibly the best Chipotle burrito I’ve ever had, despite me having made MANY burritos myself to my own liking during my time working there. It was extremely good, and the chips were made to perfection as well. My only gripe was that the number of chips was a bit low, but I’ll let it slide since we admittedly did visit a bit late and I know from my time working there that the number of chips tend to dwindle the later it gets. Still though, for a large bag of chips I feel like we should have gotten more.
Still 5 stars for this great experience, though. Keep up...
Read morePoor customer service & Robbery of my money at Chipotle Mexican Grill, 1195 Admiral Callaghan Ln, Vallejo CA. I was charged for a food item that I did not order. The cashier intentionally charged me. I went back into Chipotle Mexican Grill and the cashier knew instantly that I had caught him in his game. Instead of an apology, he offered me a food item. I said "no thank you, I would like the money to be replaced back on my card". He went to get the manager, I also informed the manager of replacing the money back on my card. Well, that didn't happen, I went on and took the cash from the manager, also no apology. Honesty and great/good customer service is so important for a successful business and to try and rob me of my money is illegal. If I would have received an apology, that sure would have made a difference. I want to say, I enjoy the burrito, but I should not have to wait for about 10-15 minutes while the Chipotle Mexican grill employee(s) prepare a fresh order of food, your employees need to be aware when each food item is low. I recommend all customers to make sure you are not charged for food/drink that you have not ordered and to look at the menu for prices. To the employees at Chipotle Mexican Grill, apologize, " I am sorry", a smile on your face, greet your customers..., is what you do when you are working with the public. If you don't like the job, then quit. Also, never rob money from anyone. Keeping a busy restaurant at Chipotle Mexican Grill and having your customers wait in long lines while you are robbing them of their money, will not continue much longer. Honesty is the...
