The Hook and Needle Shop now is home to a vibrant steadily growing Community of diverse people. They are a warm, helpful and interesting group to know. When I go in for a quick stop, suddenly two hours have passed by before I've checked my watch, and I've added at least one more must do project onto my list or into my bag despite my sworn intentions. Hook and Needle is my favorite hangout social place even though I don't get as often as I'd like. Convenient access whether you're coming from town or the highway. I've never had a problem with parking very close by. I've bought yarn (I swear, I had no idea how endless that one skein would be - I got 3 projects out of it). I've donated to their winter hat drive (and props to them for organizing the drive!). Read moreWhat a wonderful find! There is a new yarn shop in town and it is too sweet for words. A lovely selection of yarns from inexpensive cotton to designer hand dyed fibers. The staff is friendly and helpful without being overbearing. They offer classes and craft nights. They’ve been open about 2 months and I sure hope we knitter, crocheters, weavers, etc. will make a point of going out and showing our support!
