Six Shooter is hands-down my go-to spot in Vancouver. From day one I’ve always felt welcome, and that vibe never changes.

The team here makes the bar what it is: • Matt the owner runs the place with vision and keeps the energy spot-on. • Nick, the head of security, is amazing — professional, fair, and makes you feel safe even on the busiest nights. • Behind the bar, Matt (bartender), Sean, and Britt are absolute all-stars. Drinks are always poured well and they bring the perfect mix of personality and service. • Smokie, the karaoke DJ on Sundays and Mondays, is one of the greatest people you’ll ever meet — he turns karaoke into a night you’ll never forget. • And the DJs on Friday and Saturday keep the dance floor alive and hopping until close.

The space itself nails that Americana/country-bar vibe with pool tables, booths, and music that keeps the energy high. Drinks are strong and consistent, food is way better than typical bar fare, and the whole staff goes out of their way to make sure you’re having a good time.

Yes, weekends get packed, and sometimes you’ll wait a bit for a booth or a round — but that’s part of the scene, and it’s always worth it.

Only been to this bar a couple of times, normally have a good time, but now I feel like they justify bad behavior instead of solving the actual problem and punish the good people. Backstory: I do not drink alcohol or do any drugs, but I still like to go out and dance. Last night, 02/07/2025 I got kicked out because I went to the bathroom in the men's bathroom because the women's bathroom was full of people doing Coke in the stalls and I had to pee! People are getting head in the Photo Booth... actual Coke bags on the ground in the bathroom... and I was being friendly to all the staff BUT I got kicked out because I had to go pee and so I went to the toilet that was in the men's bathroom and for safety reasons I guess I got kicked out HAHAHAHAH so hypocritical.

On the other hand, the bartenders are pretty cool for the most part - the most attractive bartender that people think is there is the one that kicked me out I guess I just have bigger balls than most of the men there..., and Security team is always so nice! Maybe you need a female security team and I'm a great candidate 😆It's a very cute country bar. I just wish I got...

The security was respectful and not abrasive. Had water on hand in a cooler so that was nice too. My main issue was when I bought a rum and coke. Firstly when i asked for the drink the bartender told me there was rum and coke behind me gesturing to the water cooler. Honestly maybe he thought I was drunk however I was DD so was completely sober and the drink was for one of my friends. The price came out to like $5.19. I was trying to be nice because one of the people I was there with was very drunk and being obnoxious so I told the bartender to add an extra $5 as a tip. The bartender apparently decided that wasn't enough though because when the charges finalized in my bank account the total was $15.19. I'm not too worried about $5 but the fact that a bartender would be so blatantly entitled is beyond disgusting. Again $5 may not seem like much but how many people has he done the same thing to especially people with large bills?
