I really enjoyed Nonavo Pizza...lots!! I'm not the biggest fan of thin crust, woodfired pizza, but these folks did it right!! I only had about 15 minutes and they got me in and out with no problems. First, the pizza. I ordered the basic margarita to taste the fundamentals of the pizza. Starting with the crust, I generally like a little more substantial crust, but this one was excellent! It have a nice flavor and had a good balance between chewy and crunchy. The best part was the outside of the crust as it was quite light and fluffy. It had a good flavor and the texture was outstanding!! The toppings were well done, nice tangy and fresh sauce, some dollops of mozzarella nicely distributed and fresh basil sprinkled throughout. Overall it was light, tasty and fun to eat! The space was a white box...and I liked it. It was very simple, but had a fresh and clean look with nice tables and bench seating along one wall. Nothing fancy or expensive, but it matched the pizza in my mind and overall the experience was great!! They also had a big rack of wood in there for firing the oven...nice touch. The folks that helped me were nice and accommodating. They did not have any parmesan cheese out or available, so I asked and they brought over a nice little bowl of something similar and it was great! Overall, I would definitely recommend this little place!! It's simple and just one size of pizza. It's not cheap, but a decent value overall. They also had Steelhead Root Beer which is awesome as well!! It may not be top 5, but I'd say it's an easy top ten in my book! Check it out!!

I usually like to start my reviews with the positives, but this experience deserves honesty. The restaurant was uncomfortably hot inside, and there’s no outdoor seating, which they really should consider adding. I’m sure many customers would appreciate a cooler, more comfortable option. Now for what truly ruined the experience: right above the coloring pages and crayons (clearly meant for kids) were distasteful photos of half-naked women hanging on the wall. I found this absolutely disgusting and completely inappropriate for a place that’s supposed to be family-friendly!? Nobody wants to sit and look at nasty, inappropriate photos while trying to enjoy their food, especially if they have children with them. It completely kills the atmosphere. Please take them down. The pizza itself was delicious—definitely five stars for flavor. We tried the sausage pizza and the mushroom pizza, and both were excellent. However, it was an extra $4 just to add a few pieces of pepperoni, which felt overpriced. So pass on that. Our total came to about $43 for two pizzas. I’d come back for the pizza, but the environment really needs to change.

My first experience was okay, however their pizza was pretty expensive ($25.00) considering the relative small size - not to mention the questionable customer service. I decided to try it again and brought a friend the 2nd time. We went in to order a pizza to go, and as we asked a question about the menu, this middle aged - slick back dark haired Guido that I've ever met proceeded to be curt, dismissive and arrogant as he looked down on us as if we were inconveniencing him. Whom...I could only conclude (based on these reviews) is the owner. We were so dumbfounded that we actually walked right out! With this type of service, I wouldn't be surprised if they spit in their food! Unbelievable! If anyone ever asks about this place - it will be nothing but save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere! We will never return as the owner clearly does not care about his customers. Yep! This is the owner - the same guy with all of the other negative reviews.

Con: Pizza was undercooked. Pro: Cute place

Visited on a Saturday afternoon and finding parking in that location was a struggle but that wasn’t the restaurant’s fault. The ambience is hipster-cute with an impressive round pizza oven in the center of the open kitchen. Ordered the bolegnese pizza and took a table. The pizza was brought to the table quick enough, which I initially took as a plus. The pie was on the smaller side relative to chain pizzeria pies for the same price but that makes sense with local and higher quality ingredients and I was all in. The crust was not specifically a thin type but it was not at all bready and very nice of the flat bread/cracker variety- very good. Strangely, there were burned spots on the crust’s underside. Not that burned was bad, mind you, a hipster touch perhaps that differentiated hand made from mass produced. The strange thing, though, was that although the crust was charred the ragu bolegnese on top was tartar. Not exactly raw, mind you, but closer to raw than cooked. My companion refused to finish her piece, but she is finicky. I, on the other hand, suffer from a lack of distinction and didn’t quite realize that the interesting soft pink meat was actually undercooked meat. Being somewhat ignorant of the characteristics of bolognese I thought it was some sort of hipster meat and it didn’t taste bad at all, just soft and cool and unusual. In hindsight (and after reviewing the internet's array of ragu bolegnese pictures and recipes) and realizing I ate half of a pizza with meat tartar I squirm a little bit. Here’s the thing, I would go back, try other pies, and suggest you go as well- just make sure the pizza is cooked...

Pizza is great, Service is very, very rude. Definitely not kid-friendly.

My wife came there with her cousin and our toddler for some pizza. Wife went to order while cousin and toddler sat at a table (there were many empty tables), and one of the guys snapped at her for not ordering before anyone sits down. He literally made the cousin and toddler get out of the table and wait in line, even though they where all one party and she was ordering for everyone.

He snapped at my toddler for doing things like standing while eating, or sitting on the tabletop while eating. He wasn't loud or bothering anyone. Was just weird. Toddler was touching a glass window, another guy came up and snapped at him (he's less than 3 years old), then asked my wife if "she had everything under control" (as if he was going to do something if she didn't).. . He was literally touching a glass window..

If you must support this business, I suggest ordering to-go at a minimum. But overall, we are going to choose to avoid from now on. No one should treat their paying customers this way (especially children that aren't bothering anyone!) and especially since they were first time visitors and just wanted to have some pizza in peace.

Finally, and this really isn't a huge deal at all, they are pretty sure they saw one of them drinking a beer on the job (though not positive). I want to be sensitive maybe they where having a rough day..

Everything that I just explained in detail I have multiple...
