Love going to the fort for day trips, tours, events. Cute on site gift shop. Nice long loops for walks dog friendly kid friendly family friendly destination. Location can get a bit crowded during Pokemon events buts adds to charm of place. Love the historical value added and stories behind the fort and people who lived there. With Halloween right around corner hoping COVID doesnt prevent this years haunted lantern tours. The only on site rest room is located in gift shop see websitr for hours and details. Otherwise library is short walk away. There are so many parts to the Fort. Buildings walking paths historical information kiosks. Ample parking in multiple places. The feedback we received from the 70 author vendors we had there for our KXRW NW Book Fair was for the most part all positive and want to return next year.
