So we've been to this panda on 192nd quite a few times.. every time the staff is very kind... EXCEPT when my husband and i take our 5 kids to eat there. this time my daughter had a friend so 6 children and myself. we walked in the door and there was no "welcome to panda" just snide looks as we walked to a table. Screwed up my order and acted like it was a huge deal to correct their mistake, i nicely said it's not a big deal if it's a medium and not large, but she rolled her eyes and fixed it rather rudely!!! Go to pay, and they dropped my food containers into bag ( mind u i told them it was dine in) and snicker at one another as the food topples into the to go bag. pay, get receipt, and cashier starts leaving... so i ask not super nice (as my anger at such blatant rudeness and was starting to build at this point) for 7 cups. she rolls her eyes and asks "7!?" i said yep 7!!! brings those and starts leaving counter again.. again i stop her an tell her uhhh can i possibly get some plates so my children can eat on something!? she's like "siiiigh HOOOOW many? ooooh yeah 7 🙄 big eye rolling!
ok so i get it!!! a big family probably makes restaurants think "oh dear that's a large group" but seriously isn't that what brings in a lot bigger order.. meaning a lot more money!!! BTW my kids can get a lil wild at home, but we go out and they have been taught since birth that we act nice, polite, quiet in any public place!!!
i will not be back to this panda unless Racheal, and Diane are no longer employees...
Read moreI honestly wish I could give this location 0 star rating but here we are. From the start this places food is consistently bad from raw or burnt to just bad tasting, next I would place an order twenty minutes before going to pick it up and would get there and still have to wait another ten minutes because they didn't have the order ready and on top of it all it would be the same dish. When I asked about it always having a wait I was told it wasn't popular so they didn't make it the manager was put out it seemed to make it, why not take it off the menu if putting a premade bag of food in a pan to heat up is such a trouble. The other problem I have is the employee's inability to read the outside of a box that the wrote on saying what's missing and waiting on to be restocked, I was waiting over ten minutes and saw multiple employees look at the box and open if to see what's missing. For one I find this unhygienic but also stupid considering I watched them write what was missing on the outside of the box, continuing the story my food was sitting getting cold and the restock came but the employees seemed to forget about my food that ordered before many other people and instead put the refill into the people behind me' boxes. When I questioned it they seem not even know what was happening and was oblivious to the whole situation. I waited another five minutes before I got my food and it was then very cold. In general this whole location could use a facelift when it comes to food and...

Will you get what you ordered? Will you wait twelve minutes for it? Will you get a full serving or be shorted by twenty percent? Will the employees care? Will management correct these problems over the course of several months?
This review is the result of the answer to the final question being a resounding "No".
Americanized Chinese food is fine. The location is generally clean, has a drive through, and plenty of seating. Panda should be consistently trustworthy to deliver. Unfortunately, this location is a roll on increasingly loaded dice as to whether you will be satisfied with the product results or not. Management has been made aware of the issue on multiple occasions and the end results have unfortunately only been worsening.
At most Panda locations, you can expect to be served slightly more than the corporate proscribed amount. At this one, a full fifth underweight is the culmination of months of assurances that it would be addressed. Unsatisfying. Overpriced. Under delivered.
On top of that, a general lack of urgency on the part of chefs and all staff. I'm patient for fresh makes, but that doesn't mean bantering for a minute and a half in front of an open bag of product to be worked on without working on it is acceptable.
Try back in April of 2020 and we'll see if they've gotten their act...
