I was just at your store and received the worst experience with the manager.. i was overcharged and wanted a refund...after giving him my receipt and following to a couple checkouts he final refunds me...i ask for my receipt back and he couldnt find it and said that he didnt have it...i said i gave it to you and he acted like i didnt...i said maybe you left it at the other register...he continued checking his pockets and still said he didnt have it...i noticed it on the counter of the other register...i told him and he ignored my comment...i repeated that he had left it over there..he got mad for some reason and i said im dealing with terrible pain and could he get it...he still kept saying how he didnt have it like some excuse...i spent over $120 and got treated badly...i told him i will never come back because of his treatment...he started yelling at me following me out the store saying i could never come back or he will call the police....you should be glad i did bring all my groceries back in the store and return it all...i almost did do it but my pain is so bad i had to go home...just so you are aware I will boycott your store and tell everyone i know to shop at grocery outlet instead of your overpriced and horrible customer sevice store...good luck and...
Read moreThe only place to go in this town for food, until Grocery Outlet opened. Rays food prices are awful and a lot of the food is expired. Worst of all, today I shopped there. Hobbled around collecting my food for an hour (my leg hasn't functioned properly since the accident). I finally get up to the register around 5:30'ish and the woman at the register looked thirsty and since it was taking a while for me to get the stuff on the belt, I told her if she quick breather and it wouldn't hurt my feelings. She glared at me, and handed me a shield and says if I'm not going to wear a mask, I need to haves this. I thanked her, asked if it was free, put it on the belt and kept loading. She cut me off again, handed me the sheild and said she'd have to insist I put it on or she couldn't finish ringing me up. I told her I can't put anything on my face, I'm medically exempt. She said she is going to have to insist or she can't ring me up, but there are other options, that I can order online, or I can leave, or I can put on a shield, and then asked, what am I going to choose do? Read moreAbsolutely vicious food poisoning from the hot chicken island they put in a year or so ago. I complained to a manager and she told me she'd gotten it three times from the deli. She also said it sits in there all day long, which is a huge health code violation. I could barely eat for two months and lost about 50 pounds. The first week was the sickest I've ever been in my life.
This place is poorly managed with dangerous hot holding and sanitary practices.
The meat department is filled with ungraded beef and other sub-par meats being sold at regular prices. Those "No roll' ribeyes they always have are ungraded beef from damaged or bloodshot cattle. As opposed to USDA Select, Choice or Prime graded beef like most stores. It's very poor quality. They hope you won't notice or aren't aware that it's ungraded at USDA Select prices.
I bought some of the nicer box wine there that was skunked and found a sell by date from three years previous. It was on the shelf for three years minimum.
Overall this store is way overpriced with mediocre to straight scam quality products, oh and you might almost die from food poisoning.
