Betty Belts — Local services in Ventura

I love coming to Betty Belts it’s one of my favorite stores in Ventura. The selection of jewelry is beyond amazing and the way the store is put together it feels very welcoming. Unfortunately the staff is a bit rude in particular Leyla. This is the second time I come in and she looks miserable to be there. I asked for her help and she came and got the item out of the glass display and walked away with it without saying anything. I just stood there not knowing if she was going to come back or if she wanted me to follow her. Another lady came to help after she saw I was just standing there confused. Layla then saw the other girl helping me and with an annoyed face she mumbled something gave the girl what she had originally got for me and walked away again. This made me very uncomfortable. I was there to get a few things for my mom for Mother’s Day but only walked out with one because of how this experience played out. I understand the place was very busy and I’m sure the girls working were overwhelmed but us as customers have no control over that. Please be kind! By no means will I stop shopping here I will just be doing it online...

I can't say enough good things about my experience with this jewelry company! I had purchased a beautiful ring from them, and unfortunately, it broke. When I reached out to inform them, I was absolutely blown away by their level of care and professionalism.

Not only did they immediately offer to send me a replacement ring (even though I’m in a completely different state), but they also printed out a return shipping label for me so I could send the broken one back at no cost! I was so impressed by how easy and quick the entire process was, and their kindness truly made me feel valued as a customer.

This is an adorable shop. Very popular and expect a wait. It's small but worth the wait to get in if there is one, for sure. I grew up in Ventura and this shop as been there since 2005 but I didn't know about it until recently! Crazy. The jewelry is pretty and unique. I love the few pieces I have. Its a sweet reminder of the place I grew up. I noticed that there is faith-based theme or background with the company and I think that's great. However, it wasn't really reflected in their staff. I bought a pin that said "loving kindness" (a value I hold true to) and honestly, the staff were more snobby and cliquey. It seemed a little contradictive to me. I got the feeling that it was probably due to the employees being younger and less mature than "not nice". Just my opinion and I could be wrong! I am sure Betty Belts will reply and defend themselves, but if many reviews include thoughts on their staff and their attitudes, maybe it should be considered. Other than that, great store and products and I would buy from them again
