The Vitamin Shoppe — Local services in Vernon Hills

I was surprised that the Vitamin Shoppe has gone to way of so many stores by hiring younger uninformed employee (most of the time younger). Just because a person lifts weights doesn't mean they're knowledgable about supplements. Word to the wise ...learn all your products, pro's, con's, side effects, even where they're at in the store. Staff has always been exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. I come here at least twice a month for various supplements, and have skidded in two minutes before closing time on several occasions. Staff were friendly and welcoming, regardless. Ordered a product online for pickup. It showed in stock and on sale. Three hours after ordering, still no email message to pickup. Keep in mind, this isn't Lowes or Home Depot. Picking an order here takes less than 60 seconds. I finally go to the store to be told that the product is out of stock but similar are available, all for a higher price. Classic bait and switch.
