Hi Desert Furniture — Local services in Victorville

This place is awful. Buyers beware! The customer service here is no good I paid for an extended warranty to cover a couch I bought and they've done nothing to remedy the problem. I've called and emailed several times they do not respond they took my money and the couch is absolute garbage. They're selling junk for real prices then also sell you a warranty they don't ever plan to cover. It's a joke. I've offered very good solutions such as take this couch back and I'll buy a different one from them or to fix the couch properly. I can't believe the companies in this high desert are so awful. Please stay away! Dnt find yourself in this same position. Also don't believe the rediculous responses on here from the owner, they never tried to help me 1 time. They blamed me for there mishaps, they forgot to assemble the couch properly and showed me how the couch is assembled like it was my fault I didn't know how to tighten up screws and things. Do yourself a favor go to ikea or some reputable furniture store. I'm out 1,596 bucks and have to buy another couch. I don't make alot of money and they took full advantage of my situation without ever trying to resolve it. When I told there manager my couch creeks like an old wooden floor he just says and I quote,"its supposed to do that." Came up with this long bs drawn out sorry as to why it's supposed to squeak and creek and feel like it's falling apart. Absolutely horrible.! If you would like a similar experience then by all means shop here because this is what they truly strive for, different managers and workers and its my fault? I'm an average sized man and nt fiance is also of average size. Not to mention it does it with my kid who's 30 pounds. The leg rests on the couch are ripping off I've had this couch for not even 1 yr and take excellent care of my things. Just terrible! to all buyers, BEWARE!

RESPONSE TO OWNER: I started complaining from day one. It took almost 3 months and several service calls until you guys finally did something about it. Almost your entire statement is full of lies. I wanted to return or upgrade and asked several times to do so. I've literally called almost every week for the last few weeks to give you guys the opportunity to still make this right, they've done NOTHING. I've called several times and emailed so many times. So many times I haven't received calls back and no emails back, BUT they will reply on here how ever. I even emailed pictures! NO REPLY. Again, Customer service is terrible. I NEVER complained about "squeaky springs" HA what a joke, if you couldn't fix a squeaking spring then that's just ridiculous. Your guys didn't assemble the couch properly and both couches squeaked and creaked like an old wooden floor. NOT squeaky springs squeaking creaking wood inside of a $1600 couch that was of big lots quality for a serious price tag. When I talked to the manager he also never did a dang thing after all who says a brand new couch is supposed to squeak?! Loud abnoxiously and annoying. And no thank you I'm not going to call I've called 50 times with no response? I WAS NEVER EVER SATISFIED! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!! EVERYONE STAY AWAY... Just do yourself the favor they do not treat you right. The manager also told me "It's only a $1600 couch" I said what's your point? He replied "It's a cheap couch." It's a lot of money to me, there was other couches out there that carried a way lesser price tag, it was not a cheap couch. And if it was why was the price so much? Now the leg rests are ripping off the couch and the problems continue couch still squeaks both of them and they're both ripping. The manager also said "The squeaking and creaking of this brand new couch is normal wear and tear! Lol Ok guys! Instead of replying on here why don't you reply to my emails and go ahead and get this couch fixed or refund me my money, which you should refund my money for all the head ache. I would give 10 stars if I could! We went to this store, after visiting some of the bigger, corporate stores. We needed a couch and a bed. This store's prices are Fantastic (half the price of the other corporate stores for nicer items), and customer service is beyond top notch from everyone! Cesar helped us in store, and he is wonderful! We have an 8 year old and a 1 year old; he was very kind and patient with them. He made himself completely available to us without hovering and being too pushy. He gave us an amazing price also! We bought everything late Friday afternoon, and they delivered everything to us the next day. We live in a small town in the mountains, so to have such a quick turn around time is unheard of where we live. Our wait time was between 12-2. 15 mins past 12, Oscar and Luis, our delivery guys, called to let me know they were leaving the store and what time they would be arriving. When they arrived, it began to snow. From having a baby that is crawling, we do not wear shoes inside. After bringing a 6 peice couch to my porch, in the snow, they put new booties on their shoes to be respectful and considerate of our preferences and home. They then completely assembled the couch to my exact liking. After, they brought a full size bed up to the second story for me. They would have assembled the bed completely, but we are in the middle of painting, so it was better for us to have everything remain in protective packaging. They left the matresses exactly where we needed them to be and positioned them in the best way for us to get it set up. They took every bit of trash with them, even picking up a few cardboard scraps from my daughter's new toy. They were extremely polite, communicative, and helpful! We will definitely be telling everyone we know, who needs any kind of furniture, to go to this store first and ourselves will be back to see Cesar for a few more items needed, once we are settled. I could not say enough nice things about our experience and fully recommend any person who is in need of furniture to try Hi Desert Furniture first! It will save you so much time and so...

Not one for posting comments, nonetheless I must share my thoughts about this Hi Desert Furniture store on Palmdale Rd., Victorville, CA.

For starters, my husband and I stopped in as a "final" hope in finding our perfect bedroom set. To my surprise, this store had the most amazing, beautiful, complete set. It is American made in Utah and the wood is solid Pine. It has metal ornamental rivets and handles with natural distressings. It is unique and the Staff went out of their way to make a same day delivery.

On a second note, as we were completing our transaction we shared a photo of our "perfect" living room set. Miraculously, they had the same exact model that we showed them. Brand new, up to the moment styling and exact same color. Needless to say, we bought it from them. It was a great asset to pay one single delivery fee and have all of our items delivered on the same day, in one shipment.

The staff, Wendy/Sales, and each of the Finance people in the office were amazing. As for the delivery of our precious cargo, Oscar and Modesto were dependable, careful, and professional.

We will return for other Mossy Oak items and a second night stand soon.

Everyone in the high desert should seriously consider this furniture store. They also have all Ashley Products for a bit less than you would pay perhaps at the Ashley store in town. I dont know that for a fact, I only know what we saw and observed.

This is a great local business with amazing customer service and wonderful, quality products.
