Boscov's — Local services in Vineland

I have always liked this Boscov's. My favorite thing about Boscov's is that they will let you return things with receipt years later. I had a pair of shoes in my closet that I never wore & they let me exchange them with no questions asked. They even credit you the full amount. Not the amount that the item is selling for when you take them back. I worked there in past so I know that the employees get a percentage if they catch a shoplifter. However, things have changed. Now, they have security guards that watch your every move. I went there shopping with my son for some winter clothes & the security guy was watching us the entire time. I wanted to just leave but I bought the items only because my son really wanted them. They also don't have a section for women in their 30's. You have to either fight to find a size in the misses Jr's or go to the misses which is definitely not my style. Another down side is that you cannot use any of their coupons unless you have the Boscov's credit card. I don't think I will ever be returning...

This was my first time going to Boscovs in Cumberland County mall. After the bad experience I had, I will never go back. I payed for an item that was $14.99 and it supposedly rang up at $19.99. Just to make sure after I payed I went back to where I grabbed my item and sure enough it was $14.99. So I asked for assistance in getting my money back and it just went downhill from there. I was given the wrong receipt there was such a big mixup that I was told that I had the wrong receipt and I kept saying.... I was just given this receipt from the other cashier. It took several people to assist with this matter and several employees were telling me that I had the wrong receipt. I didn't purchase anything but just one item. I kept telling them I was given this receipt, whether it was wrong - something was done in error and now I was the one being given a hard time. Never again will I return. Thank you to the other ladies and managers that did...

One of the employees here was extremely rude. We were looking for junior shorts and only found the plus-size section, so we asked an employee for help. She copped an attitude and kept saying "It's right THERE!" while pointing at the same rack we looked at. We kept politely asking for the smaller sizes, but she kept huffing and saying "They're over THERE!" with a huge attitude. When she finally figured out we were looking for smaller sizes, she pointed somewhere off to the other side with the same whiny tone. Extremely rude and unprofessional for no reason. She has blue or green streaks in her hair iirc. Do not ask her for help.

I'm giving 3 stars because there was an employee in the furniture section who was very nice and helpful. Otherwise it would've been a 1 star review.

Edit: it is now 1 star bc the same employee is still there and still equally rude...
