Mattress Firm Cumberland Mall — Hotel in Vineland

I should have read the other reviews before we went. My husband and I will never go back to this location, and probably this commercial chain really. We went in just to try out the Purple mattresses now that you can in-store and also dealt with Troy. He was arrogant, wouldn't give us much time to talk amongst ourselves, and made passive aggressive comments that were super rude and unnecessary. I told him we were there just to look but Troy is a salesman so he kept pushing. My husband mentioned we had been shopping around at other stores and Troy said, "If THAT'S how you want to spend YOUR Saturday." The Purple mattresses were nice but expensive. He pressured the heck out of us to buy but we couldn't really discuss with each other without him being constantly on us. He kept trying to sway us and I kept saying I needed to think about it. He knew his stuff but it is still a big purchase. Before we left, Troy said he would make his absolute "best" offer to us but then said "or should I not waste my time?" WHAT?! I said, "Don't waste your time," but he STILL did it anyway! It was close to closing time and he made the final offer. I wasn't impressed by it and when I still said I would need to think about it, he was short and said, "Ok. BYE." Like really?? He pissed us off in so many ways that we took our business to Mattress Warehouse, where friendly and respectful sales people give a flying flip about their customer's needs and what they want. Oh, and we got a WAY better price on what we were looking for than the "deal" we were offered at Mattress Firm. For what this place wanted for just the mattress, we paid for our whole package at Mattress Warehouse. Do not recommend this...

My mom and I walked into the Mattress Firm located at their Vineland location (by the Cumberland mall) on the whim desperately in search of a good quality bed for my mother. We were pleasantly greeted by Troy- who was more than happy to guide and assist us with our selection. Troy’s thorough knowledge & experience in his position spoke volumes! He provides us with the details of every bed we laid on & gave us the facts about how important a comfortable bed is to have! Troy was patient with my mother, especially with her physical health concerns and exhumed nothing but professionalism the whole interaction! My mother was on a specific budget & he not only broke everything down for her, but he also went the next level and was able to get us some really amazing deals on top of the Labor Day sale. Even I too myself was considering a base purchase for my mattress- and he so kindly considered me on the sale & I too ended up getting a really great deal! Overall we were very pleased with our experience here, & we want to thank Troy for his undivided attention, kindness & consideration! We will recommend this location to all of our friends and family & I myself plan on doing business here in the future! My mother is so excited to finally have the bed of her dreams! Tom was our sales rep, he was recommended by a friend. Tom was a rock star all around. Listened really well, helped me find what worked best for me and my wife. Was generous with his time took us all around the store, and did everything he could to make us have an excellent buying experience. He was able to help us take advantages of some Memorial Day sales, set up delivery, old mattress removal, new mattress set up, made sure we got a great mattress protector at a great price, helped us set up financing, all in a very short period of time. Felt like we were in and out and got exactly what we needed. So excited for our new mattress.

Really hoping the delivery and set up process is as smooth as the buying process. Will post an update after delivery and set up this Thursday.

The delivery and installation experience was excellent, hands down. The mattress we got (top of the line black/firm Beautyrest mattress) it’s a very nice mattress but I feel like I’m already putting a slump in it. I am a big guy so that could be why, so if you’re afraid that may happen maybe don’t get this mattress. If I could go back I’d probably get a memory foam...
