I’m visiting for the Beyoncé concert and while getting accessories at the mall decided to go in for a bikini & underarm wax. I was immediately alarmed from the first: she applied wax directly in the middle of my mound - not on my bikini line but right on top. I told her I wanted a bikini not a Brazilian - I told her I’m wearing a bodysuit and just needed a bikini - and she just nodded and smiled. She was real haphazard with it too - just random process, no systematic application process of the wax. When she “finished”, I STILL HAD HAIR ON MY BIKINI LINE THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN VISIBLE WITH UNDERWEAR, much less a bodysuit!!! She then went back over my skin that had just been oiled and slapped some more wax on my bikini line, still plenty of hairs leftover. So then she threaded the stray hairs which I did not ask for. I asked her twice, why don’t you just wax this hair off to begin with? Now my bikini line is semi-hairless, but with angry red bumps for some reason. Listen. I DO NOT HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN. Very often, I get full Brazilian waxes with no issues. No allergies or sensitivities at all. That’s why I felt confident that I’d be fine, I’ve had bikini waxes all kinds of different salons with no problem. But this process left my bikini line inflamed & the whole idea for my outfit tonight is pretty much ruined. I declined the underarm wax. Don’t go here. It’s cheap and you get what you pay for. AND THE ROOM WAS SO HOT, I WAS SWEATING THE WHOLE TIME!! And I’m pissed I tipped her out of pity, lol-...
Read moreHorrible experience! I do not recommend, run far away. I got lash extensions and my eyes are still irritated & swollen 2 days later. Lady said they use “HARD GLUE” to make it last longer. My eyes immediately started burning so bad I couldn’t open them for 5 minutes. Afterwards My eyes continued to burn & run nonstop for 30-40 mins. The lady said this is normal & happens to everyone. Apparently the glue is very harsh & this type of chemical should not be used close to eyes as this is a risk for damage to your eyesight. Positive the label says this but this company doesn’t care as long as they are making money. Additionally the lady was rude & insensitive to the situation as if it were my fault. No apologies just a bunch of shift blaming. I’ve gotten my lashes done for 15 years & never ever had this happen to me. If according to the lady “everyone experiences the same results” then maybe it’s the glue & not the patrons. Use safer products because this level of skin & eye irritation is NOT normal under any circumstances. I’m sure the state board...
Read moreIf you’ve ever gotten your brows done at brow bar Cumberland mall (upstairs) above DSW. Is this your hair? I just left this place because I wanted to get my eye brows threaded. So one of the lady’s I’m not sure which one told me to sit down on the 2nd chair on the right when you walk in and lay back. She started brushing my brows but whatever she was using felt wet. So I asked what’s wet that you’re using when I look up I see the brush she was using. I jump up and telling her that’s disgusting 🤮 she said what it’s just hand sanitizer and lays the brush down on the vanity and pulls out her thread to start my eyebrows. I said no you’re disgusting and she says I’m sorry while getting ready to finish the job. I got up and took a picture of this brush that she attempted to use on my face that she’s probably used for the last 6mo on every customer. But if you’ve been here before is this your hair? I...
